I switched my day off this week, so last night I did HIIT 20 and Stretch 10. So proud of myself for doing the workout even though I was tired. I had work, class until 9:30 and did my workout at 10. I felt good afterwards for sticking to it.

OK, i worked out 5 days this week. I did everything from HIIT to kettlebells and heavy free weights. Tomorrow is Pilates/Yoga fusion and Saturday is rest. Let's see if there is a payout on the scale next week :workout:

Thanks for the encouraging words and the welcome! Last night I did HIIT 15 but skipped the Tone 30. I am hoping if I feel up to it tonight after Fire 55EZ that I will do it so I don't totally miss it for the week.

This is the end of week 2 for me and I'm happy I started this journey!

I had CPR ad 1st aid training all day so no workout. However, I did just clean the whole house. I've been busy preparing for the Super Bowl activities.

rrb2- I hurt my left hip in zumba in Dec. It's hurts on and off since. So I feel your pain. Hip problems are no fun. Plus, it made me feel old! Feel better!

Today- slept in and skipped the y... so I did the elip 30 & TF Fire 30

Hey everyone!

Prep 1: Fire 30 Class

I'm starting Turbo Fire and today was my very first attempt. I'll be doing the Prep Schedule. Honestly, it was a pretty pitiful attempt. I'm just recovering from being sick and pretty out of shape, so I took it veeeery slow (and actually didn't finish). I just got tired of making excuses and waiting for the perfect start day so I just went for it. I did Fire 30 Class and will be repeating it tomorrow. I think I will like the work outs, though - I recognized a lot from Turbo Jam and the music was very upbeat. I'm looking forward to trying again tomorrow!

Today's workout was much better and I made it to the end! I had to take a short break at about the 1/3 mark and I couldn't do the second fire drill so I just walked in place a drank my water. Ready to move on to Day 2 tomorrow!

Resting today- I started a practicum for my school and it will go until Mar 2. I'm so tired. Hoping I adjust to my new schedule. I'm going to miss my morning y trips :(

RRB2 I have a pair from Walmart and the ones that came with the Leslie Sansone workout. They are both too big for me. I am wanting to get these: http://store.titleboxing.com/dwg4.html I am wanting the 1.5 pound gloves. They are out of stock. I probably need to pre-order them. They keep running out before I get a chance to order. You would think I would learn by now, since I have been trying to get them for 6 months. :lol:

I have been using 8's and 10's for these workouts. Today I started off with the 8's. Then I decided to switch to 10's. I wanted to see if I could use 10's throughout the whole workout. I did it! This coming week is the last week of the #10 SD rotation. I am going to try to use only 10's this week. It looks like this is going to be the toughest week of the rotation (beside the first week :D)

Hello! I haven't checked in for a few days as it has been hectic. But I haven't missed a workout. Today's workout was Fire 55 EZ.

I am proud to report that I even worked out on my birthday. Tomorrow starts week 4 of TF!

This combo was tough. Tomorrow is suppose to be this combo plus Bonus Abs. We'll see how my time and energy holds out. I might have to add the Bonus Abs workout onto Wednesday since it's "only" kickboxing. No sense in taking it easy. :rofl: Have I mentioned before that I think this program is going to kill me? :lol:

Something funny from today . . .

DH called our part time worker into work today because we had some extra work. Ray, our part time worker drives a Harley. I heard a Harley outside while I was working out. I stopped in case it was someone else and not Ray. Ray, and all the guys that come in are always walking by my door and window flailing and jumping around. They do this to pick at me about working out. I always tell them that they better watch those moves because they are going to hurt themselves. Anways, Ray came into the office. He tells me "Diana, I've got a new workout for you". I knew something was coming. I said "Oh yeah, what is it". He slowly unzips his leather jacket, starts wiggling around and says "I'm sexy and I know it! WORKOUT!"

I had no time to post, but I worked out every day last week.
Sunday is day 46 of TF schedule.
I've also added a short kettlebell workout 3 times a week (I miss my heavy weights). Need to buy a heavier KB for swings tomorrow :workout:

I was suppose to add on Recovery Lower Body. I got a late start today, so I ran out of time. I will do it tomorrow. Tomorrow is my last day of this rotation.

I hate to admit this (since I hate weights), but I really enjoyed this rotation. It challenged me in every way, but I really liked it.

RRB2 Great job on getting those workouts in.

Teacher That's fantastic getting a 2 hour workout in!

Today is the last day of this rotation. I have a few new workouts that I haven't done yet. I think I will do some cardio and try the new workouts this week. I might try a hybrid #10 Slimdown Xtreme/Turbo Fire Rotation next.

I heard that the new Turbo Fire workouts will be out in the next month or so. Beachbody has been very quiet about these.

I am beginning week 5 of TF and I am happy with my results so far. I am enjoying the workouts and I have gotten a hang of eating healthier. I lost 8.3 lbs within the first 4 weeks. Here's to hoping for another awesome month!:D

Diana- I use the weight loss program on the elip. I also sometimes do the fat burn.

No workout today- came home to no electricity and it just came on at 7:00pm

Teacher I don't remember the ellipticals having programs when I went to the gym. I hear everyone talking about them now. Can you tell a difference between weight loss and fat burn mode?

Diana- the elip I have has 10 programs. The weight loss is 28 min. with 4 minutes at a certain resistance and then 4 minutes at a higher resistance and it goes back and forth. The fat burn is more varied resistance but you get to set it however long you want to stay on the elip. My husband does the elip and just manually adjusts his resistance and speed. Some programs have you pedal backwards at certain time to work different muscles.
