Default New here: Losing weight the 2nd time around

Hi everyone.

Well here I am, trying to lose weight... again. I shouldn't have to do this again, but I do, so I will.

About 2 years ago I lost 26kg (about 57 pounds) though calorie counting and exercise. I was so proud of myself and swore I would never gain the weight back. But it has started to come back and I have gained 8kg.

Compared to the 26kg, a loss of only 8kg should be a walk in the park... but apparently it is a piece of cake (not the analogy type, but the literal type that keeps finding itself in my mouth). I really am finding it so difficult this time around because I feel out of control. I can't seem to make myself calorie count again, which is why I am here. I am looking for support and information to help me.

Looking forward to being a thinner, more in control me again.

c'mon you can do it! you did so well first time round. maybe look at some old photos from your biggest weight to try and kick start you again. put an unflattering photo up on the fridge.

I think it's always harder to restart when you felt "done", but you can do this! BTW, I have a cake issue too...

Thanks for the comments. Yesterday was a good day, so hopefully I will have a few of those in a row and when I see results again I will be motivated.

(I don't have a photo of me at my biggest, I made my husband delete them because I was so ashamed of what I did to myself, and here I am doing it again).

Welcome back to the weight loss community. It's so odd how we always say we wont ever get out of control again but the weight is sneaky and its here without any notice. You can do it!!!
