Smile my MF progress

I plan to update this same post with my progress each week.

Week 1: -7.5
Week 2: -3.5
Week 3: -2.5

Down 13.5 lbs in 3 weeks with Medifast...down 28.5 lbs since the end of November 2010.

I worked out six days this week and am pretty sore from doing some heavy lifting at Crossfit. I'm fairly certain I've gained muscle and lost fat in the process. My clothes are loose, and I had to cinch up my nursing pillow quite a bit (have not adjusted it at all since I started losing).

At next week's appointment they will take my measurements and calculate bodyfat percentage again. They do this every four weeks at the center. I'm hopeful.

Good going! Have people started to notice yet? I found that when you drop your first size, nobody notices. At your second size down, they start noticing.

Wow,you seem to be having great results! I'm amazed at the workouts, though. I'm in my second week and I still have to take it really easy.

Great results!

I have finished week one, and lost 3 pounds, which I'm quite happy about. I'm not doing any heavy workouts--just the things that seem to pop up (the 5k, golf, etc.). It's been really nice weather, so perhaps tonight I can convince DH to go for a walk around the block (sounds short--but it's more than a mile due to the way our neighborhood is constructed).

Great progress there!! You're doing wonderfully. Crossfit sounds intense. I think a lot of people find it difficult to gain muscle on MF due to the low calorie aspect, but MF is at the very least muscle-sparing due to the high protein content. So that's good Good luck with your fourth week!!

The workouts haven't been a problem with all the energy I've had after the first week. The first week I was sluggish for sure. Crossfit is intense, but I'm feeling fantastic after every workout. I'm only working at maybe 80%...don't want to overdo it. I'm also being conservative on the lifting.

Nobody has really noticed or said anything yet. That's somewhat disappointing but it'll happen eventually.

I've switched to the men's shakes to up my protein intake. My counselor also suggested I eat egg whites during the day in addition to my L&G...low cal + high protein.

Week 4: - 4 pounds

-17.5 in the first four weeks

I even cheated on Saturday. My husband and I went to Fogo de Chao. I'd never been before, so I decided to taste one of the rolls. OMG they are so good. I must've eaten 5 or 6 of them. They're small but still. 0.o

What's weird is I didn't feel bad afterward like I was in carb overload. When I confessed to my Crossfit coach, he told me they're gluten-free and made with tapioca. I'm not sure how he knows that, but apparently they aren't as bad for you as I thought.

I still can't believe I lost 4 pounds even with a cheat!

They do a total analysis on you every 4 weeks at the center.

In 4 weeks I: lost 17.5 pounds, 9 total inches, 3.1 BMI points, and 2.2% body fat. I'm now down 32 pounds since starting a WL program in late November 2010.

Yay, Jenesy! You're doing great. I'm almost done with week 3. I had a touch of a stomach bug early in the week, so Tuesday was off plan by not being able to keep stuff in me, lol. I couldn't make myself eat my L&G, but yesterday was better and today, normal. Saturday is weigh-in, so we shall see if it messed me up a little. Maybe I'll start tracking inches.

Two weeks down for me = 6 pounds lost total, but last night DH and I attended a gala where I not only drank wine but ate 1 1/2 dinner rolls. Everything else (okay, perhaps not the brie on the salad) was pretty much OP. But the mistakes did mean a 2 pound gain, however I'm sure a lot of it is water retention, mainly because I didn't sleep well. When I have a bad night's sleep I'm always up the next morning. No worries, back OP today and those 2 pounds plus more will be gone!

I'm down 6 pounds also, even though I'm not using the Medifast foods anymore. It's been about 2-1/2 weeks.

7 pounds down after just a bit more than 2 weeks. So stoked that I put together our packets for next week and placed another order for another 4 weeks on the plan. That will put us at 4 weeks on plan. I'm sure we can do this as we're both happy with the results so far and I really hope that I can get 20 pounds off by the time we're done.

Hey, that's awesome progress -- way to go! I have had some amazing results with Medifast as well: in two and a half months, I have lost 52 lbs.! I really think the awesome support of the MF online community has made a huge impact on my weight loss and has really helped my self esteem. So thanks for your post, best wishes for continued success! Together we shall succeed!!!

Hey there! So nice to "meet" someone else from VA! I have been on Medifast for 10.5 weeks and have lost a whopping 52 lbs. so far! Tomorrow I weigh in again, so wish me luck! I love your photo and your quote by Sagan. Hopefully I will upgrade my Jr. Member status soon and be able to add my ticker, quote, and a pic shortly! Best wishes for continued success!! BTW, what area of VA do you live in? I'm in Hartfield -- one hour east of Richmond...20 min. from Chesapeake Bay. Nice chatting with you, and hope this week brings added success and takes you one step closer to a happier, healthier you!
