Wink I'm 5 Days Post Op :)
Hi Everyone,
So I had my surgery on 2/17 RNY and got home on Saturday. Here it is Monday...doing super well. Had my first bm LOL had to say that, gas is FINALLY leaving, I actually walked a whole block today WOOO HOOO I haven't weighed myself but waiting till Thursday.

Thursday will be my weigh in day each week. Funny cause I feel lighter but it's probably just because I'm ummm NOT EATING ANYTHING like my body is used too LOL

I always try to get in protein/liquids & vitamins before my pureed foods

I tried a few pureed foods i.e. chicken, egg beaters, applesauce ALL UNDER 1/4 cup but so far it all went fine with me...

I use the body fortress protein shakes they seem to be delicious enough for me to tolerate anyway

SOOOO just wanted to give you all a heads up

Great! I'm happy for your success so far. And I so wouldnt be able to eat blended chicken..errgh..

Congrats! Pureed chx huh? Funny how all the surgeons seem to have such different post-op plans! I had full liquids for 2 weeks after my surgery.
