Default are avocados free?

hey. I'm a former WW member. I plan to start back up but haven't really got the funds at the moment. I've been following the new plan as best i can and am really appreciating the free fruit and veg, but as there is no master list of generic foods online yet like the old plan had i haven't been able to weed out all of the few fruits and veg that still have points. could anyone help?

No, they actually went up in points. Potatoes, corn, and beans are also not free.

1/4 avocado = 3 p+

But oh, so worth it!

And it's worth it to weigh the avocado you're eating. I had half of one with my breakfast the other day and it was 2 ounces so 3 points and etools lists 1/4 of a medium one as 3 points. As a rule I generally weigh what I'm eating if it's possible instead of relying on fractional measurements.

Spooky, that's really smart, and something I should really do. I am really good about weighing almost everything I eat, but the sizes of avocados can vary quite a bit!

you really need to have the pointsplus calculator to do the points plus plan...otherwise, you might be better off sticking with the old point system...which still does work. Don't try to mix the two plans together, because that won't work. At any rate...good luck.

Aw, thanks! I only do it because I'm greedy and want the most for my points. I know avocados will never be zero points but I still think they should count as a power food. So good for you!

So hard for me to eat only 1/4. I always want the whole thing. Such a bummer they are so high in points. But they are really healthy.
