I have a goal for this week of losing 2.5 pounds. I am starting today. Another goal for this week is to exercise strenuously at least 3 times this week. Since I haven't been exercising at all walking my dog may be a good place to start since my dog walks me faster than I walk her. I am 60 years old and want this to be the last time I have to lose a large amount of weight. I want to get healthier permanently. Any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
We'll walking your dog is an excellent place to start. You should definitely do strength training it's benefits for the elderly have been proven in studies time and time again and it's less high impact then many of the exercises out there.
