That's very cute!!! And great motivation!

I don't have a goal dress but I have a skirted goal outfit. I picked it out at the thrift store.... so it was super cheap. but it's like new. It's a flowy flowery knee-length pinkish skirt, and a pink sleeveless stretchy top, and then I added a beautiful low cut white lace and eyelet sleeveless shell to go over the pink top. I hope that sounds decent, I have a hard time describing it. Anyhow I can't wait to fit into it (and not have my thighs rub in a skirt) lol

I have goal jeans. :) They're for my half-way point, but they're still mini goal jeans. I can't wait to wear them! <3

I don't have the dress yet, but my goal is to be at my goal weight by next August. I'm the maid of honour at my best friend's wedding, and I'd love to be the second most beautiful woman at the front of that church!

I would like to buy a goal dress or outfit, but I keep thinking that it will be out of style by the time I get there lol, or I worry that my thighs wont look as awesome as I am hoping so I don't know what lengths to buy.

With this thread, I officially declare this my goal dress:

Before, I would just visit it.

I'm seeing many goal pieces on this site though.

This sounds crazy, but... I'd really like to get my wedding dress taken in and have some new pics taken with my hubby.

We have really awesome pics from our wedding, but I LOVED my dress and.. it'd be nice to make it fit again. It doesnt at the moment, because of what I've lost, but.. still.

I mean, why have a designer gown that you wear once?! I got it on eBay, but.. still. ;)

Yey.

I would love to fit into my wedding dress again... next year is my 10th anniversary and I would love to be able to wear my dress again for my husband. I was 147lbs and happy when I got married, now I am 213 and miserable

Oh, don't feel that way! Miserable, I mean. I was... 210? 220? When I got married (I think?!) and I was happy! That was almost 2 years ago, haha, but... still happy. ****, I was happy at almost 260! :D

I just want to be healthy.

It's not about the number, but that sure helps!

I'm sending you hugs!

And I think we have a really good goal now!! I'm more toned, so I wear a smaller size then when I got married, but.. still. YEY for us!

Mine is the same as the above post. To be able to wear my wedding dress again. I wasn't at my thinnest at that point but I still haven't gotten down to that weight in yrs. We plan to renew our vows on our 10 yr anniversary next year in March. I'm hoping to be at my goal by then and who knows I may have to take in the dress a bit. ;)

i'd like to get my high school prom dress re-tailored! it's such a beautiful dress and i paid to have it custom made to fit me for my prom in june 2010. well, 80 dollars later (for the tailor not including the dress) and 28lbs less, it fits me like a potato sack...as soon as i reach my goal i want to have it re-tailored and wear it to a college formal haha ;) who knows, maybe ill make a cute little mini-dress out of the excess fabric! haha

Haha... I'm the weird one. I'd actually LOVE to be able to sew or crochet or knit my own dress without worrying about modifying the pattern to make sure it fits me... :p

I love to get crafty, and I am going to be making myself this jacket/sweater (I need to order the yarn): Sylvi (http://images4.ravelry.com/uploads/needlesonfire/2635048/sylvi_d_500_medium.jpg)

But I am probably going to be making it in like... size M so that I can actually wear it as I'm losing, not just once I'm down to the weight... (then again, my maintenance could be at size M... just because of my height and the girls... ;) ). So... yeah. I just want to be able to make my own stuff and enjoy making my own stuff.

I'm absolutely in love with this dress. (http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com/pinup-couture-sailor-swing-dress.html) I don't think I'll ever actually get it, because it's $100 and I really have no idea where I would wear it, but I think it is freakin' adorable!

I have a class reunion coming up next year so I'm on the hunt for some cute inspirational things.

Also, I have friends who keep coming back from Mexico with these really cool embroidered cotton tops and dresses that look so cool. I'd love to be able to a. take time for a vacation next year and b. know that I could find stuff like that for myself. That would be awesome!

I may have to re-evaluate my goal dress...

My mom is "getting married next summer" (they've said this for almost a year now :dunno:) and this dress...

http://www.modcloth.com/store/ModCloth/Womens/Dresses/Bunch+of+Fun+Dress+in+Daybreak

is my new love.

And that pinup dress is really cute.

That's really beautiful. I don't think there's enough tan in the world that would make me able to wear that color, but it's beautiful.

This is my goal dress. I'm at goal, but I absolutely love it. It fits me absolutely perfectly...hugs my figure, but I can move and breathe easily in it. If I ever start to slide back up, I'll put this dress on. If it doesn't zip up perfectly, I can't imagine a better motivator to get right back on the wagon!

It's a size 0 (I'm usually a 2-4 but fit in some 0's and some 6's depending on brands).

And here's my wedding dress!! I can't wait to wear it in December! This is a size 8 and it was way too big...it was all clipped up in the back. I ordered a size 6 and it'll have to be taken in. I want it to look like it was painted on my waist, haha.

I'd always wanted a Betsey Johnson dress! So I bought this one, and my goal will be to get back in it! (I'm 22 wks pregnant) so let's hope I'll be able to wear this baby again in the spring! Wish me luck!

I LOVE that dress. I always go for clothing with the belt across the waist. (It helps hide my large hips.) I'm going to have to look up Betsey Johnson

Aww! Thanks Megan & Green Tea! Betsey is really a great designer! Her dresses are SO unique. The price tags are outrageous, but you can get them on sale at her outlet stores. That's my favorite dress, and when I bought it originally, it didn't fit, then I got into it, and now, I'm back out of it! But I have an excuse this time! Baby in the belly!

Anyway, thanks again! :)

I love your dress! And you look beautiful in it! I'm a big fan of dresses with sashes. They're so pretty.

As for my own dress goals, I'm with Mickeypnd, I'd love to be able to wear ANY dress and feel confident and pretty in it. People keep telling me I should wear dresses anyway, at my weight now, but I just don't feel comfortable doing it yet. Not to mention, I haven't found anything I like that fits.

I'd especially like to look and feel good enough to wear white dresses. So I guess that's my goal. I want to look nice in a white dress (not a wedding dress mind you haha). :) I really like this one.
