WW Clubs and Groups - ~night Owls #52~
Here you go Candice ;)
Just woke up because Bill is getting ready to leave for Texas. He came home YESTERDAY and is leaving today. Should be home Wed. or Thursday, HOPEFULLY. I really miss "him"....he's not himself when he's traveling like this....too much stress and he's jet lagged. Oh well, life goes on.
Here's the link to Jackie's Homecoming dance pictures. When you get there, click on the ALBUM and then SLIDESHOW option and you wont have to click on anything else.....it will do everything for you. Geeeez, I wish she would stand up straight.

Hi Everyone,
I will try to go back and catch up on the last thread when I get a chance. This is day #4 of not smoking for me, having a hard time with it and eating a bit too much. I walked 3miles on both Sat and Sun so hopefully that will offset it. I guess I really need to rejoin ww again, I am not doing well on my own.
I hope you are all doing well.

Loved the picturetrail. Where are you?
Freddie
Hi Freddie - I'm right here. Had to take Billy to school a bit late today. He's really lost his appetite due to his Ritalin medication and Bill and I are really getting worried now. I have an appt. with his pedictrician today and hopefully he'll have some answers for me. It DOES have that side affect for many children but never really bothered Billy until now. He's always been on the thin side but now he's REALLY starting to show it. His father was traveling for about 2 weeks and when he got back yesterday....he was shocked. NOW THAT SCARED ME!!! Naturally, I've noticed his losing weight but when Bill said it and how worried he was...that was it. So...off to the doctor it is. Wish us luck. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures Freddie.
I'm not feeling so hot today. Bill was here one lousy day and left today for Houston, Texas. He really hates this traveling....and when it rains, it pours. Either he's working here for along stretch of time or he's traveling alot all at once. ahhhhh!!!! Anyway, just have to live with it. How have YOU been feeling and did you get any of your results back? Let me know. :^:
Brenda - You and I are on the same boat! I'm trying to quit the butts also but to no avail. A pack will last me a couple or days but I used to be able to go a month or so without smoking, now ...... forget about it!!!!!!! I'd go nuts. As for WW.....I think you're right.....we BOTH need to rejoin. I haven't gone to a meeting in a couple of years and obviously.......I'm not able to do it "at home" anymore. Let me know if you want to rejoin and we'll do it together on the same day and time if possible and if it's an idea you would like to go along with. If not, I understand.....with your job and all......I don't know how you do it. I give you alot of credit. By the way, how goes the job and are you still enjoying it as much as you used to? I'd love to hear from you and if you're aloud to receive phone calls at work/on your break....whatever.....email it to me and maybe we can talk eachother into staying OP today. IT'S MONDAY!!!!! A chance to make a fresh start.

Well I've been walking:) It's about time huh?!? Yesterday and today I walked 30 minutes and hopefully the rest of the week I'll do the same! I ate real low points today so I should be fine. I'm kinda proud of myself that I ate low points and I wasnt starving! There are some days that I happen to keep myself more busy than others and those other days I tend to eat more points:( Hope everyone else is doing well. Talk to you all soon.

That must be the pits with Bill gone all the time..hope Little Billy gets his appetite back....Hummmm..maybe you and Bren should take his meds! ;) some days I cannot fill up and others I cannot eat very much guess it all balances out in time. :foot:
Freddie...why are you up so late..that is natural for me:spin:
Deadfish....Walking..sounds good to me...I have been too.
Hi everyone....
Just a quick note since I'm only home a short while. It's amazing how I thought I'd have some extra time once the kids went back to school. I feel like my days are even busier.
So far since I"ve rejoined WW, it has been going okay. (Not great, but not too bad). I last 3.2 lbs the first week, and have stayed the same the last 2 weeks. It seems like it does this a lot for me. I'll have a really good week, and then the body seems to need to catch up a little. The hard part is just not getting discouraged.
Just wanted to post a quick note that some good friends of our family really could use your prayers. They have been close friends of ours since graduate school. We all lived in Los Angeles for several years after graduating, and then both ended up moving to the Chicago area. Our family has since moved twice since then, but still we keep in touch. We try to get together every 2 months or so. Anyway, to make a long story short, their 12 year old son was diagnosed with a brain tumor the end of September. He will be having surgery the in about 1 1/2 weeks to see how much of it they can remove. Of course the family is quite upset and scared, but they are holding up pretty well considering. Things like this really teach us to appreciate and be thankful for what we have.
Brenda...good luck on quitting the smoking. I couldn't even imagine how hard that can be.
PJ..How did Billy's Dr appointment go? Hope things settle down for Bill and his traveling soon. I'll give you a call when I get a chance. It was great talking to you a couple of weeks ago. We really need to do that more often.
Have a good day everyone.
Susan
May I come in? I've been lurking here for a little while, and since you all seem so friendly, I wonder if you would mind if I join in? It is hard to find a group that is not TOO big that also posts regularly.
I had lost weight with the 3fc and put it (plus some!) back on. Just this week I began doing ww at home, and like it so far. I dicovered Skinny Cows...yum! I need to lose a lot of weight - close to 100 pounds, but try to think of it in 5# increments.
Personally, I am married, have 2 grown kids and 1 still at home, and 2 new twin granddaughters. I take care of my mil who has Alzheimer's. She lives with us, and it is a challenge, but she does go to a center 4 days a week, which helps tremendously.
See ya,

Welcome to the group Jana. It's a great group to be with. Congrats on starting WW again. I did too back in June and have lost 17lbs so far. I've been up and down especially when i was on vacation. But you will definately get the support and lots of tips from us when needed. Just stay around whether you are lurking or posting! Glad to have you!
I've walked everyday this week except wednesday and I plan on walking today too. I can't wait to weigh myself tomorrow morning because I have a good feeling! Well I must head out. Gotta go to work. Hope everyone has a great day and if I dont "see" you, have a great weekend too!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I've lost 3 more lbs and the total is now 20lbs;) :) :) How excited am I!?! I've never lost that much before. The most I've ever lost was 10lbs before I always quit.
Things arent going to great...I believe Jeff has started to feel quite depressed lately since he lost his job back in August and now he's beginning to struggle. He's gone to unemployment and it takes them god knows how long to get the money rolling in to him. It's a struggle and I just don't know how I can help. He's got a few more days left before he will be going to take a test for the police academy, but right now, I just dont think he has the time to wait around any longer. I feel terrbily for him and unfortunately I really can't help him out financially. Wish that I could. OH!!!! I just had to let it out. Telling someone helps me just a bit cause it's starting to make me upset as well.
Anyways, hopefully the day will get better...
Hope everyone has a good day/weekend!
Hi everyone...
Welcome Jana...we hope that we can be of help and support here. I've always found everyone to be very nice and this has always been a helpful group.
Erica...congrats on your weight loss. It can be hard sticking with it. I always seem to give up after a certain point also. I sure hope that Jeff does well with the Police Academy test and finds something to help. We've been fortunate not to face unemployment in my family, although it must be so hard not being able to help.
Well, off to tumbling again. I've been getting quite a bit of work done on Christmas crafts while sitting on my daughter's tumbling classes. My husband and son went to the Cardinal playoff game today, so it is just Emily and myself. It's nice just having one-on-one time with my kids.
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

hi nightowls! i am new again! i used to come to 3fc a lot and then i have been offline for a year or so. i have also been off and on "healthy eating" for as long. i was a ww member for most of 2000 and then i switched shifts at work and i couldn't find a convenient meeting to go to. i have maintained my successfull 22lb loss from that year and i am ready to try again. i work 2nd shift which truly makes me a nite owl. i get online usually around midnite or so after work.
anyhow, i would like to join your forum. i have a question to start with and would appreciate any idea and suggestions. my problem is my eating times with the shift i work. i have always been a breakfast eater when i worked days. now i find i am not hungry when i get up (around noon). i eat at my 5 and 7 o'clock break and then when i get home at 11:30 i feel i am starved. so naturally i head to the refrigerator. i know its not good to eat and go to bed and i feel it too. when i get up i feel overfull. any ideas to curb the problem? i am not exercising much right now. just short walks with the dog, that i plan to expand on monday.
have a great weekend!

Susan...Christmas crafts..do you make al your gifts???? Are you all settled in from you move?
Erica......great job..20 pounds gone:) Hope Jeff gets to feeling better......Hugs:grouphug:
Jana..my mom has alzheimers too, she lives with my brother and I am too far too help out. Please sahre anything with me you like I know how stressful it can be!
corningkat...I to am a night person and I sleep untill late in the day most days. Ic annot eat when I first get up but always force myself to have a v-8 and then a piece of fruit maybe some protien and then eat supper with DH and then snack all evening, (but stay within points) if I eat to close to the time I go to bed I feel full when I get up too. Maybe you should eat more at your break times?
Pj stop hiding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Freddie:)
Hi all,
Thank you so much for the warm welcome!
Erica - Congrats on the 3 # loss! Sorry about Jeff's job situation. Things will get better, I just know it. Is that your dh?
Susan - My son and a friend went to the Cardinal's game week before last. What part of IL do you live? I am in Southern Indiana.
Corningkat - Years ago, WW used to say they didn't care when you ate the food, but to not go over your allotment in a 24 hour period. I don't know how they feel about it now...
Candice - Taking care of mil gets very stressful at times, and she should really go to a home, but I just can't do that yet. The time is coming, though, probably in the Spring. My DH says he hopes she passes away in her sleep before she gets much worse. I hope so, too. She repeats herself all the time, asks the same questions over and over, tells us the same stories everyday, and has accidents in her panties most days. She talks about her mother as though she is still alive and calls my husband by her brother's name. (The brother has been dead for 40 years.) We have taken the knobs off the stove and put locks real high up on the outside doors so she can't get out at night while we are asleep. She swipes our things and hides them in her room. Please understand that I am not complaining - just stating facts. The hardest part about taking her to a home is that she trusts me and the 1 time we took for for a 24 hour stay while we had a day off, she looked at me like a puppy that I was taking to the pound... Anyway, sorry to go on and on, but thanks for listening... I truly didn't know I had so much to say! You are a sweet person for offering to let me vent!
Now for the good news - after my first week doing WW I lost an even 5 pounds. I am doing the happy dance for sure!!
I absolutely LOVE the program...
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Which of you Night Owls has been deleting some of my posts? I had built posts up to over 100 and then it got to be 90 again. It stayed at 94 after many additional posts. I finally complained to the 3fat chicks and got this answer from Suzanne:
Hi,
The post count is not related to your computer, since it's calculated on the server side. The
only thing that will reduce a post count is deleting posts. I've not done a mass delete lately, but some of the moderators may be deleting old threads. I looked at your posts and it looks like most have been in the Night Owls forum. Do you think that's where the bulk of your posts have
been in the past? I'm wondering if one of the mods in that forum have been mass deleting for
some reason. I'm concerned that your post count dropped that much in one day, as you shouldn't lose more than one or two posts a month, if that much.

hi niteowls! started back on program today. i only went a few points over and that was of course tonite when i got home. a few points is a good start for me instead of raiding the fridge all nite. i tried eating backwards with breakfast last but that didn't work. i got to thinking to myself why does it even have to be a breakfast food if i don't want. i guess i have to keep experimenting to see what works for myself.
jana-great job on the 5lbs!:D keep up the good work! it is a very good program.
candacej-maybe i am fighting the wrong forces. maybe i should stick to a lite get-up meal like you said and eat the dinner when i get home. it's so frustrating. i haven't been on a nite shift in years.
take care!

Good Morning - I'll be back in a little bit but just wanted to welcome Jana and reply to Freddie
Freddie - I delete some of the posts on my "quotes" page every now and then because they get to be sooooo long. There were only 2 of your posts on there though so I still have no answer as to why your count went down so much?????
Be back in a little bit....have to let the horses out. I just got Billy off to school and HAD to get another cup of coffee to take out to the barn....I'm VERY tired today and have another busy day ahead of me.
PS - Oct 4th was our 15th Wedd. Anniv. - Here's a picture of the bouquet Bill sent since he was in Texas at the time. 15 peach/pink roses, one for each year. Awwwww. He's still "my guy".
Hugs to you all,
Just one more picture.......Im getting another horse (for barrel racing and showing) this weekend. His name is MIDNIGHT and you can see why. <grin>
"See" you in a little bit.
Hi to everyone, but I've just got a minute -
PJ - The roses are so beautiful!! Congrats on 15 years! And the horse is good-lookin'.
Thank you for the welcome!
Corningcat - I hope you find a way of balancing your food that works for you.
I've been out of town for a couple of days, and am going over to go get one of those grandbabies to cuddle.
See you later!

I will see what number this posts as. My son said he was coming to Va. on Oct. 12th. Today he said "Maybe Oct. 19th". When he calls from the Norfolk Airport for me to pick him up, I will believe he is close to my home. I told him it better be in daylight hours. I don't drive that far at night or anyplace that I am not real familiar with.
I love Midnight. What a sleek beauty! I never rode a horse and I guess now I never will. Your roses were beautiful too.

My brother has to turn the stove off at the fuse box when he goes to work and a lady comes in for a few hours to keep her company. all so sad!:( She has accidents too....We find the dirlty laundry on the floor in her closet(trys to hide them)...Great job on the loss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow:)
Corningcat.....You can eat anything anytime as long as it is in the pts range....just play around with it and don't give up something will work for you!
Freddie..you and your missing posts........Wonder where they went!:D  :)
Worked on cleaning the house form 8am to 7 pm Monday and I am bushed! We had to empty a large closet in my sons old room to get to a cubby hole to get to a window to change the shade that was falling apart that my MIL thought looked very tacky from the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew it looked bad but have not been able to get to the window......now it is done and no one will even notice but I know is is done............so much to be done and my body will just not cooperate...am better after I rest but we can't rest all the time now can we!

Freddie - If you come to visit me......I'LL get you on a horse.....heh-heh:devil: Although I know I'm coming to see you first. I truly am sorry I haven't made it yet but I promise you....I'm a comin some day soon ;)
Corningcat - A great big WELCOME to you. I've been a NIGHT OWL for about 5 years now. Same as a couple of others. Someone correct if I'm wrong with the number of years....it may be more!!!
I am doing just awful on WW. Brenda - WHERE ARE YOU??? I need you to re-join with...or to atleast weigh in at the same time and to keep eachother from being little  . COME OUT, COME OUT.....WHEREVER YOU ARE!!!!!!!!!
Susan aka SLF - How's the house coming along? I really like it MUCH better when we're chatting on the phone and I cannot believe how hard it is to get that one little finger to have about 15 seconds to dial the phone after 8pm for us to converse. Doesn't it just kill you how the day is here and gone before we know it? Time is just a glance out the window at times. I'm trying sooo hard to make each day a really good one and to live in the moment and not in the past or future.....and YES....I KNOW THAT'S ALOT EASIER SAID THAN DONE. :p
I'm still in my PJ's. (no "pun" intended)....I made the mistake of weighing myself. Well.....are you all ready for the grand porko number?????? I couldn't believe it myself. 197 lbs. and growing!!!! I must have gained about 15 pounds in the past 6 weeks and boy do I feel it. I'm even too embarrASSed to show the pictures of me ON my horse since it makes him look like a shetland pony. :o and he's NOT small. Now don't go and post to me to stop "bashing" myself......I'ts just my way of being honest. I'm NOT staying OP and this what happens. I'm getting exercise but really need to get back and be consistent with the cardiovascular (swimming and walking) and the light weights. Now...to just get STARTED. I'm in a very down mood today. Stepping on that scale didn't help and I don't know......I'm just feeling very blahhhhhhhhh.

Hi All,
Freddie - How long has it been since you've seen your son? How many kids do you have?
Candice - I couldn't access your page either.:( If you are still in a cleaning mood, come to my house! I've got plenty to do and could use some extra help! Ever since the babies were born, my priorities have done a flip-flop. Who wouldn't rather rock a baby then clean the john?
PJ - Your post got cut off again! I wonder what causes that?
I had a good time with my son in Indy. He works so much that I don't get to see him as often as I'd like, so it was really nice to spend the time together. As always, I was very glad to get back home, though. Be it ever so humble....

Who asked the question? I have one son. He has been married twice. His oldest son (with wife #1) is going to have a baby so in May (I think) I will be a great grandmother and my son will be a grandfather. They didn't tell me. but he knew.I have tried to phone them several times but they are never home and don't seem to have an answering machine. They live in Virginia. He has three children with wife #2 - one of which was adopted. They lives in California. I saw him in May and June 2002 when I was in California (Northridge). I was getting along pretty good until I returned home to Virginia. All has been going downhill since then. Have several heart tests coming up on Oct.14th. Results to be given to me on Oct. 22nd.
I feel like I have the flu today. Had flu shot last week. Maybe it's the west Nile Virus. I sure have been bitten by mosquitoes!!!! Been in bed almost all day but decided to come downstairs to get something to eat so I guess I am feeling a little better.

Jana...do you know anything about Carnosine a supplement used in treating alzheimer's?????????????????
Hi Owls,
Freddie - I sure hope you're feeling better. Also, remind us before you go in for the heart tests.
Kathy - Even if you're seeing slow results, at least you are OP. That's the important thing.
Candice - The only meds I know about for Alzheimers is one that slows the progression of the disease. My mil can't take it because the meds irritate the stomach and isn't for people who have had ulcers, which my mil has had. Is this something you are thinking about for your mom?
I have had a good OP day. I wanted seconds at supper, so I put some back for my lunch tomorrow instead! That's my way of getting 2nds, then I don't feel so bad. Stupid, but it works.
I bought some chocolate graham crackers to make a sandwich with ff cool whip - then freeze them. 2 full crackers and a serving of cool whip is 3 points for both. You guys probably already know about this, but it may be news to a newbie who's lurking. My DD and I just love the skinny cows, and this dessert is similar.
Hope everyone is doing well. See you later!

I finally was able to read some of the posts. I did not know you smoked. When you come visit, I will send you out on the porch if you have to smoke. My rules are no smoking in house, in bedrooms, in bathrooms, in living room, in kitchen, in dining room, in computer rooms, or in my new automobile (a 2003 Toyota Prius). Get the drift!!!! Does that scare you? I hope not.
Freddie
Hi all...finally back on-line. I was substitute teaching all week so I hardly got on. Tomorrow we are meeting our friends in Champaign to go to a University of Illinois football game. They are the one with the son who is having surgery this next week trying to remove a brain tumor. They have been trying to keep busy with some fun activities. Since we are close to Peoria, we only have about 1 1/2 hour drive to the game.
I'm hoping to get to some more painting this next week. I would really like to get the whole downstairs done before I have my liver biopsy done again this winter. Once I have the biopsy done, I have to take it easy again for a while. Hopefully it won't be as bad this time as last year. At least now I know what to expect.
Well, I want to check email yet tonight, so I'll wind it down here. Hope everyone has a really good weekend.

My son phoned last night. He thinks he will be here October 19th. Since he said his airplane will land in the nighttime, he will have to make other arrangements than for me to pick him up. I don't drive at night - especially to the Norfolk Airport. Maybe if he comes into the International Newport News - Williamsburg airport, I can make it. It used to be called the Patrick Henry Airport and maybe it still is called that (but not on the highway signs).

Hi Candice:
My son, Hunter, is to come in the night hours on October 19th. I will go to the airport if someone (like my sister goes with me) and if he tells me the flight number and the time of arrival and the airline. My eyes have slow-growing cataracts and a different doctor than I now have (old one who retired) told me not to drive at night and especially if it were raining. I notice circles around things like oncoming lights and street lights if it is raining. I don't like my new eye doctor. Have been wearing glasses since I started first grade in 1929. My near sightedness was supposed to have improved with age, but I never noticed any changes except in more recent years have not had to have my prescription changed each time my eyes are examined.

Hey everyone.......sounds like everyone is keeping busy and is up and down with being OP. Just stick to drinking the water and staying within your points and exercise as much as you can. That goes for EVERYONE!!!! OK?!?
At work, I sometimes struggle getting down my two bottles of water(64oz) so in the morning my partner and I chug the rest of our water together and then we refill. Then we do the same for the second bottle in the afternoon. This forces us to get the water down! I've also started walking on my breaks and I think it has helped alot! I've been pleased the past two weeks. Today I weighed in and I lost 2 more lbs.;) My total loss is 22. I'm kinda excited about it. I look at myself in the mirror sometimes and I can tell.
I've been contemplating on getting a second job for the weekends. It's up in the air. I'm not too sure if I really want to do it or not. Especially since I'll be taking classes in the spring. Although the extra money wouldnt hurt. I would also be doing it to help jeff and I financially. Let me tell you, it's the pits! Jeff went to the Police for a test to see if he could make it into the academy. Unfortunately he did not. He passed the agility test, but when it came to the written test, he was not able to surpass it. So now we/he is back to square one. I just have no idea what he wants to do. I'm on his case about doing things and i'm on the internet all the time trying to look for jobs he may be interested in doing!
FREDDIE: I wanted ask you....do you know of anyone that needs help....Jeff needs a job....the experience he's got has been marketing/sales. He worked for companies that represented name brand products and he would travel from food lion to food lion all over virginia and cut in products, did resets and etc....anyways...just wondering if you knew of anyone in the field or any other field that may be of help....you can email me...ericag5@hotmail.com
well i'm off to go search the net...i'll talk to you soon
bye

I wrote to you at your email address. Hope you got the note. I usually can't do addresses unless someone sends me an email so I can click on their address for my address book.
I forgot to include being a salesman for company that sells copiers like Cannon. Is he a good salesman? I think they are a special breed.

well.....salesman no...i think he would do well with what he was doing before...unfortunately i dont know of any other marketing companies out there. The two he worked for were down in North Carolina. So the companies dont have to be instate for him to work for them. but anyways.....i guess I'll keep looking for him. dont know if it bothers him at all. i'm giving so many suggestions to him, just dont know what he wants to do. i think he's just waiting for a job to fall into his lap.
Hi Owls,
Candice - Let me know how your mom does on the meds, if she gets put on them, okay?
Everybody else - hope you are all having a good weekend, and are staying OP. Do any of you have a day where you eat just a little bit more than usual? I always have a little extra on Sundays after weigh-in. It's the one day a week I make dessert. DD and sil, and his sister are joining us for dinner tomorrow, so that will be fun.
Bye for now,

ok, i just made chicken and dumplings as requested by the significant other. I looked it up in my weight watchers book and it said 7 points for chicken and dumpling for 3oz of chicken with 2 dumplings...the chicken was shredded into little pieces so it probably wasnt that much, but plus there was the cream of chicken soup and cream of mushroom soup in it. I dont know....7 points doesnt seem right to me. Anyone else have any idea how many points chicken and dumplings are?

Need to get my butt moving to earn some activity pts!
Hi everyone,
Candice - I'll be so glad when I can say I've been maintaining for
a year... I can't even imagine how awesome that must feel.
Freddie - I will email you my address later tonight. Thanks for the help.
deadfish - I don't know about the chicken and dumplings. That sure sounds delicious, though.
What happened to PJ? Also, since I'm new here, and don't know, how long do you guys let the threads get before you start a new one?
Now for the good news... I'm down 4 more pounds this 2nd week of my weigh in. That's a total of 9 pounds gone. I have never lost that much the second week on any weight program - even old WW. I know it's water weight, but good riddance anyway. :D
Better run. Hope all of you have a good evening.

I hope no one minds, but I did a little editing. Someone's name and address, and a personal aspect of their life was mentioned without her approval. I know we are all like family here, and it's easy to say too much without realizing it. She still reads the forums, and gains a lot from our posts, and seems to be doing well. But I don't think she wanted her personal matters mentioned :)
Thanks!

Dear Suzanne: I hope it wasn't something I said. I know I didn't mention address because I did not know address but I did mention a personal matter and am very sorry that I did. I asked the person who asked the question to send me her e-mail address because I did not want to put anymore information on the forum thread.
Again I say I am sorry and will not do something like that again. I have been sick myself and felt that I hadn't done enough to get in touch with that nice person who had personal problems. I had two Heart tests yesterday, which took all day with an hour break in between, and get a second cat scan tomorrow and have really been too tired to do anything much - except get myself in trouble on your special website.
Please forgive me and if you write to that special person ask her to forgive me too.
Freddie
Hi all,
Suznne, I, too, didn't mean to say too much. Mea culpa!!
Hope everyone is having a good day. I went to the dentist and had my teeth cleaned - they look nice now - see? :D Ha Ha
I am doing great OP - can't believe how flexible WW is! I think the skinny cows are giving me just enough of a treat to behave myself. Plus, having support here is so great.
Talk to you later!

Hi Jana:
Speaking of clean teeth, when I was in the hospitals after my automobile accident, all I could do was lick my teeth and thank the angel that must have been on my shoulder for all my teeth still being there. I bled for over 2 weeks where my head was scraped. I never really got over the fractured hips and pelvis but felt lucky that they were fractured and did not require an operation. No one ever mentioned a whip lash but my neck still hurts when I turn it and my niece made me a rounded pillow that really helped me when I was in the hospital. I used it all the time in the hospital and use it at home most of the time when it's not drying after I wash it. I don't want to put it in the dryer for fear the stuffing will get shoved the wrong way.

this week has been going alright. I've been over on points some days but i'll have banked points i could use from days before. i was especially bad at watching what was going my mouth today. we made cupcakes at work and they were yummy. i ate one plain so it wasnt so bad. then jeff and i had pizza from little cesars. Hmm Hmm good! But i'll be really good tomorrow and I've been walking too, so hopefully that will balance it all out.
Freddie: what was that message about you wrote on the other thread. you were apologizing to suzanne from something. it sounded like you were talking about judygal. anyways..hope everything is ok.....
Everyone else....Where the heck are you?

I hope everything is okay. I wrote to Suzanne at the correct place now and hope it is okay. I wouldn't want to be cut off this wonderful website as I said earlier in reply to the sniper problem in Virginia, Maryland, and District of Columbia "Loose lips, lose ships".

I had some tests Monday and yesterday. I want to tell you that my e-mail address will probably
change Friday. Hunter (son) decided I should have Cox at home or whatever it's called. He told me
he was paying for the installation but from then on I would have a larger monthly payment than
my earthlink is. Everything is supposed to be faster for the Internet and I think I will be able to
get a phone call (whereas now I cannot when on the Internet). I really don't care. He thinks I am
being cheap. I know I am being me - frugal, since that is how I was born and bred. Hunter is
coming to Virginia from California this weekend. I go to the Heart Specialist to get those test
results next Tuesday - Oct. 22nd. I feel fine - no pain; however, I am tired from morning to
night. I had another cat scan today (or looking at the time, it must have been yesterday). Will let
you know about my new address and any results I learn about from my medical exams.
Love, Freddie
Hi ladies,
Deadfish - I forgot what your real name is - the mental image of a dead fish gives me the willies! I hope you are doing good today OP. How long have you been on WW and how much have you lost so far? Although I am enthusiastic now, I know it will get tedious and boring after awhile. So far, so good.
I love your attitude - no guilt and move on.
Freddie - At least you've got the testing over for now. Be sure and let us know the results, ok? Wow, the accident sounds awful. Hope you enjoy the visit with your son.
I was at my DD house a little while ago and rocked both babies to sleep for their nap. They smelled so sweet, and feel so soft.
Tomorow is DS's birthday, so I've got a cake in the oven. It smells so good!
Have a good day everyone!

I turtled yesterday (Thursday) and have one more week to get in leeway with TOPS so I can remain a KOPS. My son, however, is coming in tonight from California and I know that means eating out a lot.
Freddie (who will try to behave)
Just noticed I was taken to the wrong thread again and am on page 4. Oh well! with it
