This is the one with four phases, the first being attack where you eat only lean protein to "detox" and then only lean protein and vegetables for the duration of the weight loss?

IMO After reading the allowed foods seems a lot like Atkins and South Beach with a lot more restrictions.

Yes it is the one with the 4 phases, I am starting with the attack. What appeals to me about it is the fact that the acknowledge that eating is a joy and in the 3rd phase, you get 2 free meals a week which include wine, which is important to me. But the no carb aspect of it is a lot like atkins, but lower fat!

I am thinking about starting this diet also. I want to lose about 30lbs.
Did you find your "true weight" at Dr. Dukans website? I took the test and the test results state that my true weight is about 10lbs more than I want. This is the weight that I can maintain effortlessly, so it says. It actaullsy makes sense given my history.
Anyway, I will be checking in on your blog and here to see what you think about the diet and what results you are achieving!

I'm giving it a shot as well. I'm on Day 2 of a 7 day Attack phase. My target weight according to his site is 180 so that is what I listed but I would love to see 160 again!

So far I'm down about 3.5 pounds! Still on ATTACK for two more days. Mainly just eating grilled chicken, tuna, and eggs. I'm boring when I diet.

Great job on the 10 pounds!

I'm thinking of trying it too after reading about it in the Daily Mail a few weeks ago. The website says my true weight is about 12lbs more than my ultimate goal, but I guess I'd be happy to reach that weight seeing as I probably haven't weighed that since I was a teenager.

The only thing that puts me off is eating ONLY protein as I don't like chicken, fish or egg whites. I might just have to bite the bullet though and give it a go. The website recommends just 2 days on the attack phase for me so I could probably live with that.

I think most people see a higher number than they are expecting yet as you say, most people haven't seen their "goal weight" since high school. I want to weigh 160 but his plan says that 180 is my ideal. I know I can wear a comfy size 10 at 180 and as I near 40, I may need to be happy with that. However, if I stick with this plan and keep losing well past 180, I will keep going.
