Default 17 days at the same weight

Hello! How's everybody?

This is just a whining thread. I was so happy to get down to 150 a while back-- then I kept returning to the scale hoping to see at least a pound a week since then, preferably more, drop off. Today I looked back at my calendar and discovered it has been 17 days since I hit 150 and I haven't lost a thing since then, despite trying harder, sticking more closely again to the Induction rules, even cutting calories back in hopes of getting the pounds to come off.

Why isn't anything happening anymore?

You are so close to goal, this usually happens. The last few pounds always are the hardest. I almost gave up when I was where you are. Do not give up, keep on doing what you are doing and it will happen.Try to not be discouraged . There is a forum called featherweights that deals with those last few pounds.

Are you exercising? if so, you might want to step it up a bit, add a little more to see if that helps. If your not exercising, now would be a good time to incorporate some. Also, make sure you are getting enough calories, going to low can sometimes stall us.

Some times we don't lose weight but we lose inches... how are your clothes fitting? take some measurements

Good luck

I'm still fighting. And today I didn't plan well and took only a couple of string cheeses for lunch, so I came home ravenous. I did make myself a couple of Steak-umms, fried some bell pepper and onion in butter, topped with just a little cheddar and a bit of mayo -- sort of a Philadelphia Cheese Steak sandwich, without the bread.

Actually, 140 isn't my real goal. It's just the "if I can get there, I'll be happy until I reach my real goal" goal. For my height, I really need to be about 125. It seems impossible now that the rate of weight loss seems this slow. Think I will break through at some point?

Have you tried 'Eat Stop Eat'? I've been doing it for 3 weeks now, and it's been going awesome. I've done 4 24-hr fasts so far, and I'm really impressed with the progress. I'm unable to exercise currently, so I'm relying on diet alone to get me where I need to be

Hey- if this is a whining thread firefly, then count me in!

Just joking. This morning I checked my keto stick ( I don't know why I check it every single day - it is just a boost for me I guess) and I was a littledeeper purple than the day before. I also excercied yesterday (aerobic). I though to myself - yes - today is the day I hit Onederland!!! However - I gained 1-2 lbs!!! At first the scale said I gained 2 lb so I turned it off and back on- then it said I gained 1 lb. I know I need to quit obsessing with the scale, but am so excited to see myself in the 100's! Even though I started at 206 (not that far from onederland), counting calories and excercising I couldn't get lower than 203. However- I am not discouraged on bit! I have a feeling I didn't eat enough calories. I have hit that point of never really feeling hungry.

Hi corndog, thanks for the advice. That doesn't sound like something I could do. I'm glad it's working for you, though! Good going!

I want to lose about 2lbs a week. That's not so unreal is it? Now, in order to do that counting calories, I'd have to eat only 1,200 calories per day -- and it would take me until June 13 to be at 140 lbs. That's only about .94 lbs per week. To lose more than that, I'd have to go down to below 800 calories a day! That can't be healthy.

I wish I could lose any at all a week. Going like I am now, I'll just still be 150 on June 13.
