Hello again!! Well, I lost about 28 pounds from January to July, then stopped wearing my Gowear Fit, stopped exercising, and slowly gained 10 of them back. Now I'm ready to take better care of myself again, and I've been wearing the armband and tracking my calories for the last week. I feel almost relieved to be doing things right again.
It's so weird, I know it doesn't really make me happy to eat junk and sit on the couch all day, but after a while I just reach a point where I feel like a whiny 2-year-old and just refuse to do what I know is best for me.
Anyhow, I'm writing from my trusty "treadmill desk", typing as I walk. It's great, cause it's all rainy and cold outside, but here I have no excuse not to throw on my flippie-floppies and get moving whenever I want to veg out at the computer.
I'd still like to try to find "fun" ways of getting activity into the day, some sort of team sport or something... I went snowboarding last week, and wow, that was an extra 1300 calories burned without me even realizing I was "exercising"!
I need to find more of that stuff in my life.
