It's so weird, I know it doesn't really make me happy to eat junk and sit on the couch all day, but after a while I just reach a point where I feel like a whiny 2-year-old and just refuse to do what I know is best for me. Anyhow, I'm writing from my trusty "treadmill desk", typing as I walk. It's great, cause it's all rainy and cold outside, but here I have no excuse not to throw on my flippie-floppies and get moving whenever I want to veg out at the computer.
I'd still like to try to find "fun" ways of getting activity into the day, some sort of team sport or something... I went snowboarding last week, and wow, that was an extra 1300 calories burned without me even realizing I was "exercising"!
I need to find more of that stuff in my life. Here's to an early and successful new year's resolution!
