That's how long I've been fat. Sometimes I'm really fat (like now, at 254 pounds) and often I'm just pretty darned fat. It seems like I gain and lose the same 50 pounds over and over.
I'm 41 and I'm getting tired of the yo yo. I don't want to be skinny, just healthy. It's good to find a place with people who understand. I hope to get to know you all better.

It doesn't matter how long you've been overweight we are all on the same road to fitness. I think you will like it here, everyone is very nice and supportive.

Welcome! I find that just by logging on here everyday keeps me honest about myself and my progress. Its the times that I stop coming here that I tend to lose focus and regain weight. You will find lots of supportive and friendly people here who are facing the same struggles and eventual triumphs as well. Use this site as your tool to a new you. It works
Welcome to 3FC! I'm glad you're here! Surf around and settle in. We have forums based on age, eating plan, exercise and more!
Check out the 40 something forum and the 100 lb Club for lots of great support. In a recent thread in Maintainers, we were commenting on how many ladies in their 40s finally got the weight off for GOOD. You CAN be your healthiest EVER in your 40s. You can do this!!!
