Default Poll: Body Shape!
I've seen some body shape threads but haven't seen a poll yet. So I thought I'd make one, and have all you lovely ladies vote, and we'll see the percentages of body shapes for 20-somethings.
If you're other, just include in your post what you consider your body shape to be.
I myself am an apple, but apparently most apples are post-menopausal women, so I think my shape is much more uncommon in the younger crowd.

I am a pear when I'm overweight, but when I'm at a normal weight I am an hourglass... that weight likes to collect in my hips.

megwini - the apple shape is really common with native/metis people, my family on my mom's side is metis, and so they all have these tiny legs and a belly. I was at an event on the weekend with lots of metis people, and everyone had that body shape, even the 6 year olds!

I think I'm hourglass. I know when I'm smaller thats my shape. When I gain weight, it spreads pretty evenly, but mostly to the boobs.

Mine has changed a lot. I was an hourglass, gained weight and became an apple, and losing weight have become a pear

I chose apple because I gain weight in my middle very easily. However- I am really an inverted triangle! Like Mr. Incredible! Big shoulders, huge boobs (that do not decrease with weight loss), tiny hips and no butt whatsoever despite my weight.

Gross, I know. Wonder what I will be 30 lbs from now...

I put down apple in the poll, but I'm really more of a ruler. I gain/lose weight pretty evenly all over, and no matter what I weigh, I have no real hips, thighs, or bum to speak of.

I am hourglass...
and I didn't know our shape change with our age...
I would think it change with our weight, but not with our age...
Did anyone realize the shape changed with age??

BTW I am 36
