Morning Everyone
Well dont know what happened. I started posting. Hit a wrong key. And lost it. So it is out in cyber space somewhere.
Not much happening here.
Hubby is out mowing the yard. Before the rain comes. Suppose to get rain today and tomorrow. The yard needed mowing. So he is working on it.

BEACHBUM I hope the Dr's figure out what is going on with your ankle and leg.

I am afraid the scales are going to be way up today. So not looking forward to weigh in.
Need to go and get some bleach and I want to check about some new flower pots. So will do that before we go to WW.
I want to bleach my coffee cups. They are getting so stained. They are washed. but dont look it. And then I want to get a couple of big flower pots. To put beside my front porch steps.
So that is all that I have planned today.
Well am going to get off here.
Want to call my Aunt. Was going to go there either today or tomorrow.
Think I will wait until tomorrow.
I hope everyone has a great day.
Thinking of each of you.

Good Morning Ladies:)

Hope you all had a great holiday. Our was quite but nice.

Its finally "D" Day I go to the doctors to have my ankle/leg checked on.

My sister gave me a scare :fr: last night when she called and hoped I didn't have Achilles heels as she told me" if I don't get it right away they have to operate and I might limp for the rest of life." She's all good news!!!

Than on the better note she told me that my DD Her DH and my DS and the family had a wonderful time at her house. The kids like plain rigtoni noodles as the put them on there fingers and eat them from there. At least that made me laugh.

W-I and I gained as expected.Even if it was.3 it now brought the scale up 1-lb.Hope its water retention from my painful leg muscle.

COCO-We had Rouladen a German dish that's almost like Braciole but we put onion slice, small carrot, pickle & bacon inside the meat before rolling it up. With that smashed potato and Brussels Sprouts. Thanks I will find out this afternoon.

SANDRA-Enjoyed my meal but this morning the W-I was good Up.3but than I had meat and it take meat to go though the colon over 24hrs so I should be down tomorrow.

Have a great morning, will come back and report my results from the doctors.

MOVED MY POST THAT WROTE THIS MORNING TO THE NEW THREAD.

Sounds like we're all still getting over the holidays. I am sure my wi will be up tomorrow. I deserve whatever the scales show. Life goes on.

Maryann, let us know what you find out from the doctor. I hope you can get relief soon.

Rhonda, I know you'll be glad when all the home remodeling is finished. I got the cutest e from your grands today. I'm sure you got the same one. This is the first time I've seen Doyle in them. (I'm not talking about the Spiderman makeup. I'm being serious.)

Coco, what are you planting in your new pots? We still don't have porches built. I'm going to get ferns when we do. Well, that's the plan, anyway.

Just got home from the doctor and he told me he saw a small tear in my ankle but not enough for a booth or cast.Showed me the xray, and I must say I have cute footsies :D:D

He told me do RICE method[rest, ice, compression & elevate]told him I do that already. He also said that if the pain doesn't go away in 6 weeks I should come back to see him.So the only thing I can do along with RICE is to take Ibuprofen & Dr Scholl's arch support,as my arch is falling.

Thanks goodness that's over.

Now we're going to wait for my DD phone call to let us know what time she's going to arrive tomorrow. Bad thing there nothing opened here on the Cape until the end of MAY.So we have to make our own fun.

Have a great evening will post in the morning

Wow, Vickie...congratulations. Not bad for someone who was really feeling down not too long ago.

Sandra, yes, you can see Doyle in the children's faces. He can smile just like Alek does. I can hardly wait to be there and be "Nana."

Maryann, I hope you and Sandra get your feet feeling better. I looked at a few sites about it last night, but didn't learn anything you don't know, I'm sure.

Coco, if you make a paste of water and baking soda and scrub your cups the stain will probably come off and you won't have to use bleach.

I'm off to pottery class shortly...BBL

:woohoo: Vickie!!!!! Am I jealous or what! Congratulations, my friend. You're doing wonderfully.

Rhonda, I like "Nana." I am MeMaw to the grands here and Grandma to the ones in Montana.

Maryann, I'm glad that's what you have. It sounds like you'll be all right before too long, but I'll bet 6 weeks seems like a long time to you.

Oh, I forgot to brag about the fact that I did another exercise DVD today. I did the Kathy Smith one because I was sure that doing the Biggest Loser one so quickly after the first time would just about kill me. As it is the KS one was hard enough....BUT, I did it.

Well here I am....up in the middle of the night. At least I have a few minutes to catch up.

Ohhhh Coco, you really took me back to my childhood when my Mom used to bleach the coffee cups. We used to make her break them all back in because we swore we could taste the bleach for weeks after she did it. I'm with Rhonda. I'd try to use something else.

Rhonda, what prep are you doing? The house must be looking great. You never said whether you were happy with the Tom Selleck floors. I was feeling VERY down a week ago. What a difference a week makes. I worked as hard this week as I have in a very long time. Congratulations on your exercise. I know it makes all the difference in the world. I'm not familiar with Kathy Smith but I am going to add WATP back into my routine at least one day a week.

Maryi Ann, that's awful news about your ankle. I know it's going to be frustrating for you during your recuperation. have fun with DD and DGD.

Thanks Sandra! I just need to keep my focus and momentum. I'm trying to get my 45 pound chick back.

Good Morning All:

Yes, Vickie, I was very happy with the work that was done. We had him install cork laminate floors in the kitchen and adjacent study. It's from Home Depot and it's the lightest colored one. It really brightened up the place. Now, we have to paint the entire inside (small house!), do some yard work and a few other small things. I expect we'll have it on the market by the end of the month.

I am really sore from doing the exercise, but that will pass, and it does feel good actually to feel my muscles.

I've had my blueberries, lf milk, banana and Fibre 1 cereal...ready to face the day which will be full of meetings at work.

I hope you all have a wonderful day, stay OP, drink that water and move around a bit!

Rhonda

Coco, get a Mr Clean Magic eraser - it gets all the coffee and tea stains out. They really are amazing.

Vickie - Congraultations!!!!!!! You deserve a great wi, you're working so hard.

Maryann - glad the dr gave you some answers on your ankle. I hope it heals itself. I laughed at your story about the noodles -- my dd had always done "Noodle Fingers" when were were out to eat. She still does it once in a while now. What ever gets them to eat!

Easter was nice here - I got rid of most of the fattening left overs. Still working on the lo lamb, it came out so good. Everyone loved it. Been busy today - dd had a dentist appt, I then dropped her off at school and had a hair appt. Then did some grocery shopping. Got home and took a walk. The optometrist called and my new lenses are in - back to get those (they are right next to the hair salon!). Its a wonderful sunny day here. I'll get out and read for a while when waiting for the bus.

I need to get away from dd's chocolate - too tempting. I may play Sandra and do some gardening!

Have a good day, BBL.

Hi Everyone
Well I had a big gain. I gaind 2 lbs. I am so ready to give up.
I have really let it brother me today. And I have ate everything in sight. In a way I had thought they would be up. But then again not really. Because I stayed on track pretty good all week.
The one big thing. I didnt get all my water in. So guess I will have to make sure I do that this week. See if that helps.

VICKIE :carrot: You go girl. That is a great loss. Proud of you.

BEACHBUM Glad you found out what was going on with your ankle. Did he say why the pain was going up your leg though. Wonder if you wrap it with a ACE bandage. If that would help any. Hope you have a great visit with your family.

BLESSEDWITHSARAH I have never tried the Mr Clean things. I just always add just a little bleach to my dish water. And wash them that way. Glad you got your new lenses. I go Thursday to get my eyes check. Been putting it off. But need to do it.

ONTARGET I didnt get the new flower pots. But will. I got to checking on some curtins for the living room. Then ran out of time for the pots. I like pansy, and petunia's, and marigolds. And then I love daisys. So things like that.

TEJAS How did your pottery class go. Hope you had a great one. Good job on the exercise dvd.

Hubby has a DR appt in the morning. So wont be on here until later in the day again. Just going for a follow up. And get some blood work done.
Hope everyone had a great day.

COCO!!! Don't give up over a few pounds! You've done well and will get back on the losing streak any day now.

By the way, the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser's have formaldehyde in them. So, if you use them, make sure you wash your hands and the cups really well.

I ate like a little piggy at one of the meetings I went to so it's a good thing I've been moving around a lot more. Oh well, with only 10 weeks left, these meetings/pig outs are going to end.

Paula, how did you learn to eat lamb? I just can't stand it. That must be because I'm from a beef state and we had fence wars in the 1800's!

Hello All,

I've been pretty off plan so far this week. Not sure what's up. I did get a walk in Sun before church and heading out to my folks, and another on Monday night, but yesterday it was rainy out and dh had his chemo so I didn't make it to the gym. Not sure why his having chemo drains me but we come home and I just want to veg. Did make dinner as planned tho so that was good I really just wanted to order out pizza. I've got pt this afternoon then take the dog for a walk and go to water exercise since I missed last night. I may regret going two days in a row but I really don't want to miss a night again this week. We'll see.

Vicki - Congrats on the loss :D :D

Coco - Don't give up although I know how you feel.

everyone else -

Gotta go grab lunch before PT. Have a great day everyone.

Hi Everyone
It is a rainy dreary day here.
Not much going on.
Hubby's Dr went ok. Going to try a cholesterol med on hubby. Cholesterol is still 277. LDL was 200. I forget what the HDL was. The triglycerides were 177 I think. She mailed me the paper. So will be able to tell you in the next couple of days for sure. But she called a little bit ago. And said she wanted hubby to try this med. I think it is called mevacor. Then he has to go back in 3 weeks to have a potassium level recheck. Said it was up a little. So will have to wait and see about that.
Thanks for the pep talk girls.
Well I got to go.
Have a couple of things I have to get done.
But just wanted to check in for a few.
Will be back later.

Vickie, do you eat JC bfasts or do you have something else? I was wondering about that and if you eat JC 2 or 3 meals a day. What is the rest of the day like? Do you have JC snacks?

Vickie
04-15-2009, 05:41 PM
Coco, you sound better already today. Good girl.

Sandra, I eat oatmeal or shredded wheat for breakfast every day with 1/3 cup blueberries, and 8 oz skim. It's very Core.

Mid morning I have a fruit and a piece of string cheese.

Lunch is a JC lunch and a nice salad with 1 ounce of broiled chicken breast and 2T light salad dressing.

In the afternoon I have another fruit and milk. Usually, it's one of my smoothies that I used to make on Core with the SF FF pudding. I only use 1/4 of the package instead of 1/2.

Then dinner is a JC entree, 1 1/2 to 2 cups fresh steamed veggies, 1 T smart balance light, and 1/4 cup homemade applesauce.

Dessert last week was a SBD high protein cereal bar and 8 oz skim.

If I'm still hungry after dinner...I'm still a big girl ya know...I have a cup of WW zero point soup. I make a big pot and freeze it for me and Jim.

This all comes out to between 1600 and 1700 calories a day. I love the JC breakfasts and desserts but they had real sugar in them....and a lot of sugar. I just couldn't eat them.

Vickie
04-15-2009, 05:43 PM
BTW, I'm having an MRI on Sunday morning and I'm scared about the test and the results. If you are the praying kind....could you say a couple of prayers for me? If not, could you hold some good thoughts?

Thanks chicks.

Vickie, I will definitely be praying for you. I hope you get good results. What are they checking you for? Thank you for letting me know about the JC plan. Yesterday I bought a copy of the Biggest Loser Diet. I'm going to read it later this week and possibly start it Monday. I need something different. (Even though I doubt it's very different from WW.)

Hi there
Just getting back on here.
VICKIE hope everything is ok. You will be in my prayers.

ONTARGET I will try to help you get back on track. But I have to get there myself. I started out good today. then the Dr called again. And things went downhill from there. And I know the food dont help anything. But at the moment it felt good eating it. but now I have guilt for eating what I shouldnt have. I had a little debbie brownie and a chocolate chip cookie. I hadnt had one of those brownies in forever. Son had got some for his bucket. And I was getting it packed for tomorrow. So I ate one. And now I feel awful. But it is too late to regret it. I will have to let it go. And start over in the morning. Today. I even packed us something to eat. and took to the Dr's. Cause knew hubby would want something to eat. Because he had to fast. So took us a sandwich made on a arnolds thin, a 60 calorie pudding, and a south beach snack bar. I bought coffee at the hospital cafateria. I was proud of myself then. But not now. Oh well. Tomorrow is a new day. Sorry I rambled.

BEACHBUM hope you are doing ok. Enjoying your company.

TECHALUM You know when I would sit around like that. I was more tired then if I had worked all day. Dont know what it is. But I guess maybe we get more tense and stressed then we realize. I know just going and sitting in the DR office. I'm like. All I have been doing is sitting. But why am I tired. Never have really figured it out. Hope everything went ok. Hope hubby is doing ok. Hope PT went well.

TEJAS How are you doing. Hope you had a great day.

BLESSEDWITHSARAH hows the new lenses doing. I go tomorrow to get my eyes checked.

Well I am going to get off here. Hope everyone had a good day.

Vickie and Tech: good thoughts and prayers for both of you are headed your way. Life can really put us through the wringer, can't it.

I did not too badly today. I did have a piece of carrot cake with a friend, but everything else all day long was Core. I've also been drinking a lot more water when I feel hungry and that really helps.

Hope you all have a good night...I guess you all heard about or heard that woman on Britain Has Talent..amazing.

Hi Everyone
Not much going on here.

KATPO WELCOME BACK!! hope you are doing ok.

ONTARGET Well I need a big fan to blow the dust off for today. I had a JR Whopper and some onion rings today. But then a Lean Cuisine dinner for supper. But was too late with the Burger King food. But I was upset. And again I let my emotions get in the way. Hubby had a DR appt yesterday. Well DR had been talking about trying another kind of cholesterol med. on him if his counts didnt come down anymore. Well they didnt. She had told us before what med she was going to us. So hubby and I had looked it up. Well he was on another med. And it said not to take the new med and the old med together. So I questioned her about it. Said it wouldnt hurt to take them together. So today before I got the new pill filled. I asked the pharmacist about it. She said NO. He cant take them together. So we are stopping the old med. And going to go with the new med. Does that all make sense. So anyway. I let it get to me. Said there could be serious side effects if taken together. I am glad that I looked this up. And then questioned.

BEACHBUM hope you are doing ok. Thinking of you.

VICKIE how are you. We are doing ok.

TECHALUM Hope things are going ok.

TEJAS Hope things are going ok for you too.

Well I went to the eye Dr today. Guess what. Got to get glasses. I had some that I used for reading. But they werent just right. But now I will have some that will be. I hope. The only thing is I will have to wear them all the time now. And the DR wanted to get progressive lenses and anti glare. Said it will take a little bit of time to get them. Guess I should get them in a couple of weeks. Boy are those things expensive.
Well I better get off here. Hope everyone had a great day.

And lookie here, I can get on at night from home too!! Somethings have changed and I'm not sure what, but I'm not going to question it!!

Tonight we went to Buffalo Wild Wings where I got a salad and a small order of popcorn shrimp. They never brought utensils until the very end, so I ended up getting a lid for the salad and then brought it home. I ate half of the shrimp and also brought it, but it'll be for Judd's lunch tomorrow. It really ticks me off to have such terrible service ... I mean, if you order a salad, is it really asking a lot for them to give you a FORK? Geez!!!!

I'll work a few hours tomorrow and then will be going to the grocery store for weekend supplies. It's going to rain (hopefully) for the next few days. My poor old body sure needs the rest! Oh, and I'll have to show you pictures of my new crafts! I've been making crocheted purses and they are really cute.

Hi Kathy and Welcome back!! Its great to see you posting again.

Things here are OK, I've been hitting the easter candy a bit too much and my scale is up slightly. Back to program starting today. I've also been munching too much at night. I finally pulled out my crocheting last night to keep my hands busy.

Just need to get through work today and then I'm off until next Thursday - dd has school break next week. I had her teacher confernence yesterday and I need to meet with the principal. In November both teachers (she has kindergarten teacher in the pm and another program teacher in the am to make the full day) had the same message - she is bright but needs to work on paying attention. Which we knew. I talked to her Dr a month or so ago, and based on our discussion the DR felt it was a maturity issue not add or adhd (hate those labels). Well, the am teacher saw huge improvements this year - she still is fidgety a bit but marketly improved. Nice to hear. Then I meet with her kindergarten teacher who said she is still very concerned as there wasn't much improvement. She is very bright, top in the class acedemically but she is concerned her not paying attention will become a big issue in 1st grade. 2 very different meetings. I do want a good enviroment for her where she continues to love school and there are a few options. Any old teachers here? There is a looping class where the kids are together with the same teacher for 1st and 2nd, regular 1st grade and then a mixed age class with 1st graders and 2nd graders. Too much to think about. I'm going to set up an appt after break to figure out what will be best. Her teacher did say if she is in a strickt, sit and learn envirioment, her fidgettiness could be an issue. I agree with that, she needs to be in a room where there are optional learning stations.

Nothing is easy.... Got to get moving BBL

Good Morning Chicks! I've had an eventful morning. I've been up since 3:00 and then spent from 6-8 chasing the pup around in the yard trying to get a urine sample from her. No luck and even the Vet couldn't get one. She did get her bloodwork done. Now I need to go across town and buy her new dog food. I found one she liked after much research and an hour in the specialty pet food store last night. What we won't do for our pets.

Paula, my Niece is going through this same stuff with her nearly 8 year old. Not to scare you, but apparently many of the ADD, ADHD, or Autism spectrum kids are brilliant at their early years and because of that things don't get diagnosed until too late or almost too late once the grades have fallen. At some point, they can no longer cope with the disorders and the learning requires skills that they can't master anymore. Fingers crossed that you have a productive meeting with the Principal.

Coco, you sound a little better today. Maybe the sunshine and fresh air will help perk you up.

Kathy, I might have used my fingers!

I have to go get the dog food and then come back to eat and walk on the treadmill. See you all later.

One of our girls to have one. But couldnt get it at home. Finally at the vet's office. They took her out. And they had a special thing to catch the urine in. And finally got one.
Our girls is on Eagle Pack dog food. Small bites for the little one.
They got groomed yesterday. They look really cute.
Hope you have a great day.

Hi All,

Well, just got back from the park and walking with my mom. We try to meet once a week to walk, it's nice keeping in touch that way. I didn't make it to water exercise on Wed but I did go last night so at least I went once this week and as long as I walk tomorrow it'll be 6 out of 7 days. I wear a pedometer and have noticed we're (the dog and I) walking farther in the same amount of time so I must be speeding up (still to slow for him tho). Now if I could just get my eating under control.

DH is feeling pretty ichy, I'll be so glad when this is over only 2 left, assuming he gets them on schedule that's one more month :carrot: Then I don't know how long of a wait before his 2nd surgery, but hopefully that light at the end of the tunnel isn't a train.

The PT seems to be helping my shoulder a bunch, the pain is mostly gone although I still have some range of motion issues, I go back to the Dr. on Tues hopefully he'll prescribe another month of PT and that does it.

Coco - Hmmm that seems weird that the Dr said that the drugs would be ok together but everything else says not to. Glad you investigated. Don't beat yourself up too bad, think what you would have done a before.

Rhonda - Hope you're enjoying your day off.

Paula - Hope everything works out for DD my nephew has similar issues, he's really bright but his attention span is almost nil. The Dr. said it was a maturity issue for him too he didn't believe in putting ADD or ADHD labels on kids that young (he's just finishing 1st grade). He goes to an academy that pushes the kids more so he's challenged it seems to be working (although he's not calming down much).

Sandra - When you're finished with that duster can you pass it this way????

Kathy - Welcome Back.

Vicki - I'll keep you in my prayers.

Well I should get moving, I didn't make it to the grocery store this week so I need to go get something for dinner.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi there
Not much going on here. The guys just left to go fishing for a little bit.
So thought I would get on here.
It was a really nice day today. Only got one load of clothes hung out. That was the guys heavy coats. So still have a couple of loads to do. Will do them tomorrow.

TECHALUM Hope hubby is ok. Can he take benadryal. Glad your shoulder is doing better. I dont think the DR was thinking about the meds. They can both be used to treat cholesterol. But the one is more for the triglycerides. That is what I understand. And the way the pharmatist talked. So he took the first new one pill tonight. So we will see what happens. He has alot of trouble taking meds.

VICKIE how are you. Hope you had a good day.

Well I am going to get off here.
Go check some e-mail.
Thinking of each of you.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Question -- is there a menu thread or do you put it here? We had the best dinner and it reminded me that we used to post all that stuff. I even had leftover vegetables, so I cut them up smaller and added shrimp, then "wok'd" them! Is that a word? Wok'd = cooking them in the wok. That'll be a lunch one day next week.

My doctor called today and said my antibodies were elevated for the EBV, which is the bloodtest that was done earlier this week. I have suffered from this for nearly 20 years and it reactivates once or twice a year. They treat it with prednisone but today she said the next time it happens, I'm off to the rheumatologist. It's a chronic mono condition and I hate it, because not only do I get the sore throat and swollen glands, I am just totally wiped out and can't function. That impacts my life so much because I'm not one to sit still, and being sick just really ticks me off. It's like wasted time.

Tomorrow we're going to the grand opening of a new location where we bought our last boat. They had a teeeeny showroom and really needed something else, so they built a bigger one and it's now open. We bought this latest boat about this time last year and it's a Moomba Mobius, which is a wakeboarding/ski boat. It has ballasts in the rear that fill up with water which makes a bigger wake. Like you care. Anyway, it'll be good to see all the new boats and their big new showroom, plus it'll be something for Judd and I to do together on a rainy Saturday.

After that, he says we're going to Costco to renew our membership and stock up on some needed items. We've stopped eating meat again, just fish and other seafood, so we used to buy these salmon patties there that were very good on the grill. They have wonderful frozen fish things like tortilla-crusted tilapia, which we love. Sooooo, that's tomorrow. Sunday will be catching up on laundry and getting ready for the work week.

Vickie, I hope your tests come out okay. It's always so scary to have these things and then wait for results.

Morning Everyone
Looks like its going to be another beautiful day.
Was a little frosty early this morning. But sun is coming out. And warming up.
Not much happening here. Going to finish the laundry. And then need to run the sweeper, dust things like that.

KATPO I think sometimes they start a menu thread. But you can check with the others to make sure. You are with the boats like we are with the campers. We like to go and look at them. We use to have pop up camper. Then had to get rid of it. Then 3 years ago. Our son bought a camper. But he is talking about maybe getting a little bit bigger one. But he said probably will wait a year or two. But it is fun to look at them.

Well I am going to get off here.
Hope everyone is doing ok.
Have a great day.
Be back later.

Good Morning Ladies:)

I'm Back!!! Hows everyone doing????? Had a wonderful time with my grand children & DD,but all good things must end as they went back home yesterday.

I'm very exhausted, going all over town with them taking to the Children Museum and than to the Aquarium and play ground. My leg is really bothering me,going to call the doctor on Monday to see if I can make another appointment with him. The meds & the ice paks are not working.

Afraid to get on the scale with all the restaurants & fast food joints we went to, I probably went up to where I was at the beginning of the year.

Haven't gone thought the threads this morning, hopefully I will be read them over the weekend.

Congratulations, Godmother! That's a whopping big boy there!!

The grand opening was great, and we had fun looking at all the new boats. It was so rainy all morning, and finally stopped sometime this afternoon. I made salmon, steamed broccoli/cauliflower/carrots/mushrooms, and rice pilaf for dinner. Tonight I made a pineapple upside-down cake on a whim. I guess what we don't eat tomorrow, I'll take to work on Monday to get it out of the house.

Good Morning Ladies:)

Not going to church this morning as I can't drive with the hurt leg. Don't understand why my doctor didn't give me some kind of support that would keep my ankle area from being so wobbly.

Got on the scale this morning and I gained 4 lbs.Now I will have to adjust my calories intake lower than my normal 26pts-30pts. Thinks to go down just a little lower 24pts-28pts.

I got a new invitation from WW yesterday to come back and join the momentum plan, but Leo won't here of it,even though registration is free.He figures that it didn't work for me a year ago it not going to work for me now.

VICKIE-Big congrats :carrot:on your 3.5 weight loss. I knew it would happen, being that you watched what you ate and all that exercise, keep up the good work.

Thanks Vickie,it is frustrating as I can't exercise like I used to,it now going to be 3 weeks this Thursday since I tripped .

RHONDA-I looked on the web sites also,as I was trying to figure out why the doctor told me to do the RICE Method only, but I couldn't find it.

I have several of the Kathy Smith videos and she is a very good aerobic instructor. Only thing that I don't like it that's its a video instead of a DVD.

CONGRATS on your new grand son,WOW that something to celebrate.Glad the mom is doing well.

SANDRA-Six weeks is a long time especially if the pain is getting worse.I know I didn't rest it alike I was suppose to having my grand kids around.Have an appointment with my family doctor for a blood check going to ask him what I should do,other that what the orthopedic doctor told me.

PAULA.I guess I will have to take it easy this week now that the GK are gone. They are the pickiest eaters ever, don't know how my DD gets any food in theme with out playing with it first.I guess all kids go thought the same.

COCO-OH!!! Sorry about your gain,No he didn't tell me why the pain was going up and down my leg even when I mentioned it to him. To me is feels like a torn or stretched tendon but of course I'm not a doctor. After looking at the xray he told me it was as small tear in the ankle area, but it wasn't big enough to put a boot or a case on.

My cholesterol was that high also, and when I started to get meds for them my number went way down with diet & exercise. That was 12 years ago and now they down to normal, but my doctor told me that i will have to be on the meds for the rest of my life as my liver is not working properly. BUT that was my case and not your DH.

TECH-Leo's Chemo treatments did stressed me out also.I have no idea why,but seeing him vegging out on this lounge chair, made me wonder in my mind what happening to use, will we be a normal couple again, and the answer is YES. That happens to all the care takers of some one that has cancer and it nounal to feel that way. Sending your [[[[[[[anti-stress vibes]]]]]] your way.

KAPO-Welcome back, even it I don't remember you.I think you were here before me,I came on board some time in in 2008.

We don't have a Costco in town we do have a BJ;s which we visit once a month for paper products.A lot cheaper that the supermarkets.

Have to go, will be back later

Good Morning Chicks! It is cold and raining here this morning. I decided not to go for my MRI until after I see my ENT tomorrow. That leaves me with some time to myself today. I'm going to do laundry. Jim usually does it but I told him I'd do it this week. He does so much around here.

I'll be back in a few to catch up with everyone.

Hi
Not much going on here today.
Went to church. Out to eat.
Then stopped and let the girls go potty.
Then to Wal Mart. Then to the nieces. And got to met our new doggy nephew. He is sooo cute. He is 7 weeks old. And he is a sheltie. Looks like a little fur ball. And it is cute to watch him walk. He hops.

BEACHBUM So sorry your ankle is still bothering you. Hubby's cholesterol has come down some. But not enough. Dr said even with diet and losing more weight isnt going to bring it down. It has been running a little high for a good while. It runs in his family. So guess he will just have high cholesterol. But at least he is eating healthy/healthier than he was. So guess we know we have tried what we can without meds. Just hope he can take them.

VICKIE Hope your Dr appt goes good tomorrow Will be thinking of you.

TEJAS Congrats on the new godchild. Our niece and her future husband are going to be god parents to his Uncle's baby. It is due in Sept. She is kinda excited about it.

To everyone else I am thinking of you.
Hope everyone has had a great weekend.
