A lot of vegetables and chicken, shrimp, beef and stuff like that. But you know the sauces contain sugar and cornstarch for the most part. Maybe they will accomodate and make a sugar free sauce?

Egg drop soup is a good choice. Seafood cooked without the stirfry sauces is another, a lot of chinese places have crab and stuff like that.

I always order chicken & vegetables. You can always scrape or blot off a lot of the sauce. You may show a gain for a few days due to water retention from MSG, etc. but don't worry about it.

Talking Hello

I have ordered chicken and broccoli with the sauce on the side. I just didn't eat the sauce at all and the chicken and broccoli was delish! Don't be afraid to ask for accomodations at the resturant!

Have a great time visting with your family.

A lot of places offer up steamed alternatives as well to major dishes. THe place I order from does as well as a full alternative vegetarian menu. Just ask for what you want steamed. MOst places have the ability to accomodate you.
