Whole Foods Lifestyle - July Exercise Challenge!View Full Version : July Exercise Challenge! urs 07-09-2007, 12:05 PM Post your exercise goals and progress here ladies! I get exercise in unusual ways, at least with what I've seen on this web site so far. I work! A lot! So, lets see, my goal for July would be, say 700 minutes of exercise (I joined the 1000 minute challenge, which ends on August 10th). July 1--walked for 95 minutes. July 3--25 minute tape July 6--yard/construction work for 70 minutes July 7--yard/construction work for 70 minues July 8--construction work for 70 minutes July 10--weight lifting--30 minutes. Total = 360 minutes. Whoa! Gotta rethink that goal! So, I'll say an even 1000 (and keep the other challenge separate.) That means I've got 640 minutes to go. I don't always have construction/yard work to do, so I'll have to push myself to get the day-to-day exercises in. Weight loss? Hmm--let's go for 5 lbs. Maybe a modest goal, maybe not. So, yes, urs, I'm in! Susan LindaT 07-11-2007, 03:06 PM Urs.. I was just waiting to se eif anyone else was still doing this since the past few months, people have all dropped off. I am glad to see you took the initiative and started the thread. I'll sticky it for you. I've been busy working and moving to the new building so I don't get to post as much but I am still getting my 350 minutes a week. Glad you are back at it. Susan. Welcome. Hope you'll stick around. LwyrChick 07-11-2007, 10:12 PM Hello chicks! I'm still around and lurking also, but I haven't posted since I went on vacation in May because...well, I wasn't working out. :D Now that I'm getting back into it, I'll be sure to get active here again. I'm starting on Saturday - back to the gym. I'm looking forward to it, but just have to remember to start slow. I usually tend to overdo it when I get back into the gym and then I stay sore for a few days. Blech. :o Anyway, good job on being active ladies! miradoblackwarrior 07-12-2007, 11:10 AM Hey, I'm a-working it. Walked 55 minutes yesterday. Previous mark was 640 minutes to go. 640 - 55 =585. Okay, now I really have to rethink this goal. This is going to fast! miradoblackwarrior 07-19-2007, 03:47 PM Heeellllllooooooooo! Is that an echo? Is anybody out there? Lost another pound (yea!), and adding 45 minutes to my tiny goal-- 585 - 45 = 540 minues to exercise in July. vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
