Peach pie - yummm!

Good job Jude, Renee and AAD on your losses!

I had a busy weekend, walking a few times and working in the yard. I think we spread 5 cu yards of mulch. Had a Mem day cookout last night and weight looks a bit high this AM due to the sodium in the brat, I think. I'm back on plan today and hope to see some kind of loss in the WW meeting tonight.

Let's ALL stay on plan this week!

Hi everyone~ every time I check in and read your posts it is good for my soul, so I really need to do it more often.
Feels like the past week I've been treading water--going nowhere. I'm mixing up good eating choices & poor eating choices. I feel numb. It puts me on an aimless path which always soon turns into a downward slide. I hate this state of feeling like my sane mind & desires can't connect with my unpredictable eating behavior....

For now I need some good sleep, so I'll head to bed before it gets any later. And then I'll start tomorrow morning with some quiet time of setting my heart & mind in the right direction before my day begins.
Hoping for a whole 'ALL in the game' spirit for myself.

Hi All!

Andi - I hope your weigh in at WW went well. Sodium has a really bad influence on my weight, I have been trying to cut way back. My Irish Granny used to say she could eat anything with salt on - I must have gotten it from her.

Julystar - Hang in there!! Some good choices are better than no good choices, and I am hoping for you that those choices get easier an easier to make.
Maybe try to focus on the result of your choices to see if that helps?
I find getting enough sleep helps everything too - hope you had a good one.

Renee - Hope your week is going well, I know you are such a busy lady!

Off to work now, a 6am start!!

Jude

Good morning gals,

Weight watchers went well, I'm down 2 more pounds! I made it a point to not eat much yesterday before weigh-in. I still am not crazy about their plan but the accountability part is helpful. Yesterday we had baked cod, broccoli and flavored rice for dinner and it was very satisfying.

have a good day!

Andi, your dinner sounds wonderful! I love baked fish, but I don't prepare it much at home because DH doesn't like it. But it's my first choice when eating out. In fact, last night we went out and I had baked sole, carrots and a tossed salad. I do buy some small fillets and bake or grill them for my lunch.

My weight has gone up and down, but right now it's down. I ate typical American Holiday Cookout food on Memorial day...hamburger no-bun, potato salad, baked beans, corn on the cob....but that menu is now put away and won't be brought out again until Independence Day! LOL

I did WW for a while but stopped because of the cost. Plus I didn't care for our leader. The accountability worked for me, and the helpful hints I learned during the meetings. I tried to continue on my own but it wasn't the same. I tweaked their plan to fit into my low carb eating.

I am in ! I lost from 186 to 172 a whole year ago, and stayed around 170-174 all this last year. Though maintaining some weight off, it really is time for a big push, as I want so much to lose 'the rest'.

I"ve adjusted my goal weight 30 pounds less than I am this morning. so I'm bracing myself for a summer of dieting.

I'm going to read over this whole thread and begin the checking in regularly. Time for me to get the weight off , even if 30 pounds this year ... that would be very cool!

Welcome new members! You will find lots of motivation here. We usually weigh-in on Saturday. We are on a journey together and we can do this!

Hi All,

Hermitgirl - Welcome! I hope you find a really supportiive group here. Most of us weigh in weekly on Saturday, but whatever works for you is good.

Andi - Good job on the loss

Have had a really busy week at work, with weird shifts, but have a couple of days off coming up. The weather is improving, and hopefully I will be able to get out and do some major yard work.

Here is to good choices,
Jude

Down 5.2 lbs. today!!!

I have no idea why such a big drop, I haven't really changed anything.

Renee - good job, definitely the right direction.

I'm off to (hopefully) sweat in the garden all day.

Thanks, Jude. I am sometimes jealous of those who can do it faster, but I am really happy that I have not gone back up at all all year so far. Of those two options, I will gladly take slowly and consistently downward!

Start 1/20 @223.1# & Target = 198.1
5/4 = 214.8 = -8.3
5/10 = 214.5 = -8.6
5/17 = 214.1 = -9
5/24 = 213.8 = -9.3
5/31 = 213.4 = -9.7 (-1.5 for May)

Hey Folks,

I haven't been here in ages and lots of new people. I just wanted to report that I've lost 5 pounds!

Hi Renee! Is Corinna still here?

It looks like everyone is doing well and I wish everyone continued success.
