I went to eye Dr. I need to get one of my eyes lasered to get rid of scar tissue from cataracts surgery. I also need to see Dr. regularly bc of macular degeneration (basically caused by aging).
Today I am making LF/SF cream cheese and blueberry tarts; and a quiche-type pie made w egg beaters, veggie sausage, FF cheese & chopped onions.
Evening all...perfect weather with bright sunshine with a light breeze. Spent an hour in the pool. It is still bit chilly, but not heart stopping cold. Did the PT exercises for a bad back and with the water felt my knees were supported pretty good.
Again thanks to Rie for the cauliflower patties recipe..the perfect dinner. Portabella cap stuffed with sweet Italian sausage, cauliflower patty and fresh tomato with lime basil sf ff vinegarette.
My new rose bush is happy. We've had a couple of rain storms. Has a dozen buds. I'll try and post DD's....A Knockout rose....
So excited found a new book. I have read all of the Mary Rusell and Sherlock Holmes series and Laurie King has just released another. Weird title "Garment of Shadows". Know where I'll be this weekend.
If anyone smells something nasty and burnt it's from my kitchen. Running the oven cleaning. Seems I just did the darn thing. Roasting pan leaked and burned pork juices covered the floor of the oven. Charcoal now! We have a/c running so can't open the house. I remembered to tell DH...in the past he hit panic mode and thought I had set the kitchen on fire.
Decided to make a triffle for the picnic Monday. Use sf pudding, ff angel food cake, make sliced strawberries and the have blueberries/strawberries on top. Think I'll make up the strawberry mix with pudding/jello/water. Shhh don't tell them it is healthy!
OMG got our Brighthouse bill today and it was +$50 more. I called and had a fit. They had tacked on 6 weeks of Cimemax???? Huh? we don't get that! Don't want it....getting an adjusted bill. Had to go thru the computer

I bought some Energizer hearing batteries. Now batteries last me 6 days. These lasted 2 days. Had a fit. Friend said she had the same problem and wrote them. She was instructed to pull off the tab and wait 10 minutes before using...okay..did that and they lasted 3 days. Went to office and got good ones. Wonder what letting them sit does?

Rosey - that little pup is ornery! You can see the devil in her eyes... so cute. She and Rie's little "Buddy" would be a pair. Hmmm, maybe a visit will be in order in a year or so??
Busy day coming up. I'll be so glad when it's over. I just hope it all goes well! Tomorrow I see Rie! Yay!
I think the scale finally moved down 1 lb. I had my dr appt yesterday. Dr took me off blood pressure medicine. .
Going camping this weekend with friends at their camp. I'm so excited. Long weekends are great. I'm off Monday.
Ds finally got his power turned on. Would you believe after all this time of waiting to move in he goes on a turnaround for 21 days Tuesday and will not be able to move in.

Just a quick post, We are babysitting our gc overnight and I want to get the house clean before they come as I won't get much done once they get here.
I didn't feel well yesterday and didn't do much around here, just came on me suddenly and went away about as quick but I was nauseous, weak and achy for a few hours. I had planned to eat some leftovers but couldn't bear to look at them. Still ended up eating plenty though (too much) and I didn't track unfortunately. My weight has been up recently too. I've gone to the gym yesterday and today though plus continuing the pt exercises for my back/neck/shoulder. I will not be going to PT anymore but hope to finish the work at home. I am very pleased with the improvements I've made but have a bit more to go and PT says I need to do most of these exercises the rest of my life.
It is cool and cloudy today. Yesterday it poured!
