I eat out of boredom a lot too and the best remedy is to keep yourself busy so that you don't have time or opportunity to eat. As for the exercising, you just have to keep plugging away with it until it is second nature. Schedule it into your day rather than leave it for 'when I have some time'. Congrats on the 20 lbs loss, probably that gain is just water since it is TOM. I know how easy it is to get discouraged but rather than get mad at yourself channel that emotion into something positive that is going to help you lose weight. Getting angry at yourself does not accomplish anything. You've already proven to yourself that you can lose weight, it is just a matter of keeping up with the new and good behaviours that you have developed.

Hey all. I'm so tired!! I worked nights last night and couldn't get to sleep on my break. I've had little catnaps on the couch this morning because I don't usually take my son to daycare until after 10 and then I had to go to the bank to deposit my husband's paycheque so that our mortgage payment doesn't bounce. Now I'm just checking in to see what's going on before I hit the sack for a few hours. I ended up getting in my first workout of the week yesterday, I went to the gym and just did cardio but I felt better for it. I'd been kind of waffling about whether I was going to go or not. Same for today. Like I"m tired of course but I don't want to waste my whole day sleeping because I won't be working tonight so I'll get my usual sleep. Well I"m setting the alarm for 2 and we'll see how I feel after a few hours of sleep. Take care all, hoping you are having a great day!

Hi!

I had a long day so far today! I was all set to go do my errands when the lady I babysit for needed me to watch the kids today so she could help an Aunt move. I am only supposed to have them Mon-Thurs. It was ok though and hey it's money, right?

Jen I hope you were able to catch up on your sleep. It must be hard to keep your body in check whne your schedule varies like that.

Angelfadedblue- I think Jen gave you the best advice. I can't honestly add anything to it. Great job on your 20 pounds loss. You can do it, we all have ups and downs. You're doing a great job and all you need to do is keep plugging away.

have a great day all, misty

Thanks so much you guys, I just needed some pushing. Tonight I am going to sit down and go through my UWL cookbook and plan out my main dishes for next week so i do not give in to tempation. Maybe I can chanel my "anger" into my work outs. I always know i feel SOOO much better after working out, but honestly I have to really push myself to start. I just need to get back into the groove of things. Lots of chaos lately. Thanks again for your kind support!
You all are doing GREAT on being so dedicated to this fabulous journey to achieve your goals!! Keep up the good work.

Hello All!

Angelfadedblue_I'm glad to see you are in better sprirts! I think that planning you rmeals is a fabulous idea! I was doing that myf irst two weeks and it worked really well. But the groceries for many of the meals from Dr. Phil's site, just got too expensive for us. So I bought a bunch of plan appropriate freezer meals and will eat those on nights the meal my family is eating doesn't fit my plan. We'll see how it goes.

I am so tired LOL. We went shopping until 11:30 pm on Friday and yesterday DH had his flight training lesson in the morning,w e shopped some more in the afternoon then went and visited some family getting home at about 9. But I did get to sleep in this morning.

I am going to go start the thread for next week so I know it is done. I may not get a chance MOnday morning.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend! ~Misty
