Active - I don't recall feeling nauseous in phase 1 but maybe you aren't getting enough healthy carbs. Are you eating Legumes? The taco bake is good with the refried beans. Are you drinking enough milk and eating enough yogurt? Those healthy carbs can really help.
beachgal - Your menu looks great. How many calories in the WW bagel? Have you tried running it through fitday.com? Sometimes this weight thing just doesn't make any sense.
AZLowCarber - Your menu also looks good. Lots of veggies! Make sure that the two SF Jello's and the creamsicle doesn't take you over the 75 calories.
Me - While my weight was good all month, it popped back up at the end. It was down again today but not back to 147 so I didn't end up making my monthly goal. Oh, well, I am still 3.5 pounds lower than I started the month and that is progress. Work has scheduled a pizza party event at lunch today. I would rather not go but it is a meet the new group even so I will go and just make sure I don't eat too much. I brought lots of healthy snacks hopefully I will be less tempted.

I just can't believe myself. I have been so sick this past week, my eating plan flew out the window. Too much feeling sorry for myself I guess. But, I started back to the track yesterday for a short workout and will get seriouse about the workout today. That should help to bring my weight back in line.
We were at a church conference all weekend...Friday til 11:00, Sat. 8am - 11pm and Sunday 8am - 6:30pm. THEN, back to work on Monday. I am sooooo tired, but it was worth it. A great time to get away.
I heard from one of my old high school girlfriends this morning. She and her hubby are coming to visit this week. We hadn't seen each other for over 35 years and hooked up last summer. She happens to live where my daughter is living now. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to call when I was there a couple of weeks ago, but they are visiting here, instead. Looking forward to another busy weekend.

Time is of the essence this morning. Other than the wine tasting I have at 11:30 this morning I will be on Phase I for the entire two weeks even passing up the wonderful cake at my niece's wedding shower on Sat. I will have to take some goodies for me so I don't feel left out but I have to stop making excuses for not being on plan...the wine tasting, the shower, Valentine's Day, my dil's birthday, and that is just a quick summary of what I could use for February, sure I could come up with more if I took the time.
After the wine tasting I am off the gym to see if my knee can take a workout yet. I am so hoping! Sticking with the eliptical and then will do weights two times a week if I can handle it today on the eliptical. Prayers please because I know I need to be exercising but it is hard when it hurts so much.
I ordered the Dr. Phil Self Matters book and will be starting that this month too. I have to find out why I am sabotaging myself constantly.
This'll be quick for me as I am swamped this morning!
I've come to the conclusion that Mondays and Tuesdays are bad days to get on the scale. Maybe Fridays would be better??? I almost got really mad when the scale came back first with 155.0. Then it said ERROR. It was like it was taunting me since I almost threw it out the window yesterday. Stupid, evil scale !
I fully intended on getting up this morning again for exercise. Unfortunately, for the second time in a row, I woke up at 3:00 and couldn't go back to sleep. This is killing me! I drag on for an entire day and am exhausted by the time 8:00 rolls around. I need to take something to make me sleep all night or I'm never gonna get my exercise in!
Mama and Beachgal-I feel your pain about not losing pounds. It's frustrating to do everything correctly and have nothing to show for it. Inches are great but I want the numbers! Let's hope this month is our month! I have my gyn exam coming up in 2 weeks as well and planned on talking to her about it. She's really great about everything.

Day one, phase 1, it didn't go well????
Before I knew it GS was here and I had eaten 5 dried prunes(I love them) I had 2 scrambled eggs ,2 slices of bacon, and 6 oz. tomato juice for lunch, supper I had boneless skinless chicken breast with cream of mushroom sauce, lg. tossed salad, sf jello no wc, DS was out with me for supper.
this evening with DS I had a beer... this is my last one in the house so I won't have any more beer., about 10 frozen grapes,(did you know you can freeze grapes and eat them frozen, sooooo good) Blt's-bite GD's toast, lick of nothing?,taste of sons rice,

I weigh every morning. Some people get away with once a week, but I think if you were to do a survey here, you'd find that most of us are once-a-dayers.
I know I'm late getting in here but I thought I'd drop by and say hello....not much is going on with me today...I went to work and then went to dinner with a friend to the Cheesecake Factory and had a yummy salad...although I'm not sure it was completely on plan...but it was really good....my friend just got a puppy...a cocker spanial...his name is jake and he's the cutest puppy...We decided that Friday night we're gonna go to a dance club and have a girls night out...I haven't gone clubbing in ages....but it should be fun!!!
