I just got an IPhone last month and have started using the app my fitness pal. My username is skithetrees7B. I would like to find some friends who are also using this app for a support group. I think you just add the app to your phone, then add me to your list of friends. No one in my personal group of friends is interested in calorie counting. Of course most of my friends are pretty fit while I am on a journey to lose 100Lb. I started at 222 and am at 204 now. I haven't lost or gained any in the last year.
hi, i started using this app too but it gets a little boring after a while, i forgot to fill it in and on the whole spent my time looking at my phone! but good luck and well done for weight loss so far
i LOVE myfitnesspal!! love love LOVE it!! i have found a fabulous group of "friends" who are so incredibly supportive. i have the same username on MFP as i do on here...so feel free to add me as a friend if you like! :-)
Feel free to add me! And anyone else feel free to as well! stephanie1133
Love this site! I started using it May 8th, which was over a month into my restart, and have had wonderful success with it. I like it much better than sparkpeople, fitday, or several of the other sites I've used.

Our stats are almost identical, I added you on MFP if that's ok
Thanks everyone! I used to log my calories on a blog, but would miss a lot because I either wasn't at a computer or was too busy ony computer working to log in. I think MFP is just the right fix.
I don't add my exercise on MFP just for that reason. I track it all in my fitness app that grabs GPS maps of my runs/bikes, so I would have to manually transfer them over anyway.
I figure any exercise I do is bonus calories as long as I'm not hungry and have enough energy, I'll play with eating calories back when I'm at goal weight.
I think the calories they give you are pretty low. Having dieted many times I know if I stick to 1400 a day religiously I would lose 3-4 lbs per week. So adding in calories for exercise is good. I still lose weight on it.
