You had to do 4 weeks of liquids?? Yikes, that's a long time!
Careful with yogurts, as some are quite high in sugar. I continued using protein shakes for my main form of sustinence since I wasn't able to eat much of actual food at a time. For foods, I did things like:
refried beans with melted cheese and sour cream
super finely mashed egg salad
super finely processed ham salad
full-fat Fage Greek yogurt with sugar-free fruit spread for flavoring
French onion soup from restaurants (order with no bread/croutons and then eat just the melted cheese and broth, leave the actual onions in the bottom of the bowl)
I took refried beans and portioned them out in an ice cube tray (1/8 of a cup) and froze them. I then popped them out and put them in a plastic storage bag to be mixed in with alot of other good stuff like eggs and pureed salsa. YUM! I also ate fresh fish that had been poached in Italian dressing. Since fish shreds so easy when cooked, they (my doctor and her staff) said this was a great thing to eat. I make miso soup with tofu, I still eat that to this day because it is so good!
