Good to see I am not the only one with this problem.Despite being 14 stone plus I am a 38b and tops and dresses always gape at the neck, shoulders and "bust". Any time I have lost weight before this is always the first place it has gone from, leaving me with even smaller boobs and a big belly! Having said that, the older I am getting I am getting slightly more appreciative of them becase at least they are still perky. A recent discovery for me has been "fillers". Never used to like using stuff like that before - always thought it was cheating and vain. However, even although they resemble chicken fillets they give you a better shape, I look more in proportion and tops fit better.

Hi! Just wanted to pop into the convo and say that I'm an A cup too (and was at 200.) If I'm small chested now, I think I'll be really small by the time I reach my goal weight. It might be a life-long clothing obstacle, but it's an aspect of our bodies we'll need to learn to love. Just like bigger chested girls, smaller chested girls have dilemmas at any weight. My sister is thin, but small-chested as well, and she is displeased with how she fits into clothes. Go figure. I think she's beautiful in every way. Just shows you that people are really self-critical even when they're lovely.

I too am a member of the IBTC. At the moment I am wearing a 46 A from justmysize dot com. No, I take that back. I'm not wearing a bra because I can get away with NOT wearing one!

always been apart of that club...i've recently stumbled onto leading lady full figure bras, and they've actually been pretty comfy. i've got both no wire and underwire and so far so good. plus, they've always had my size in stock when i've looked. maybe they'll be helpful to you girls as well?

I know this is an old thread, but it was actually one of the only (relevant) things that came up when I googled "big girl with small boobs".

Playtex used to have these "Nearly" half-sizes, and I used to do well with their 38 Nearly B with a bra extender. If I had to guess, I'd say I'm probably 42 band size and my right breast is the "nearly B" and the left is a straight A.

I have this problem that no matter how much weight I gain, my cup sizes don't change. I don't think this is normal. I'm 5'6" and have fluctuated in adulthood from 175 to 240 (now at 240), with no change in breast size. So, the heavier I get, the more out-of-proportion I am. I mean, it's a great motivator to lose weight, but kind of makes me feel like a freak.

Just found a bra at Target in 40B (Simply Perfect) that fits okay - first one in about 5 years I've found.

Hi,

I have the same thing, I can put weight on, it never goes to my boobs, and always to other areas. I am 44b and I struggle to get good bras. I used to buy Maidenform but recently came across a site that does high quality plus size bras for $10 or some are even less and they have been fab. I have ordered twice and they seem to ave a lot of bras for plus size bras, both for small cups and large too. they are called mybraoutlet

I am pretty flat chested probably not even an A.

I rarely wear a bra, I do a camisole and then I use those soft, light, foam fake boob things. They stay put inside my camisole and give me shape.

occasionally they go off kilter though! one up, one down, one sideways lol but 95% of the time they do not budge from where I put them in the morning,

Unhappy Royally screwed

I'm a heavy pear feeling really down on myself. It's bad even I don't feel sexy given that I'm overweight AND under endowed up top, but finding lingerie that fits properly and flatters even remotely is next to impossible. My bf loves lingerie and I do too in theory....he wants me to wear it and I can't find any for my shape that he and I would both like. The only thing I feel I can remotely pull off is babydoll and its the one thing that does nothing for him. I feel screwed by Mother Nature and royally screwed by clothing manufacturers.

I'm exactly the same. I feel cheated that I don't at least get the side effect of boobs with the extra weight. I feel like people don't notice the fat as much when there are boobs to see, but will me fat is all you get.

make sure your bra is not a minimizer. So many people assume big banded bras should be minimizers. Some of us need all the cleavage since the rest of us is bigger proportionally!

Well have you tried a see-through babydoll? I found a black lace one and a red mesh one at lane bryant over the years and it was well received

Another suggestion is to get a really pretty bra and panties and get a garter belt and stockings to wear with it, especially if you have cellulite in your legs and are self conscious about it. I promise even if you are feeling your boyfriend is probably Lane Bryant also carries a quarter cup bra that is definitely not for public consumption but would give you the lift of a bra while being extremely racy. My hubby is 180 lbs and runs and is very fit and handsome and I had to "get over myself" a little bit and realize I can't let my own negative feelings punish him, too...when he first lost his weight I was so self conscious and cried. I had to kinda make a choice not to ruin that part of my life over it, especially since men who love you probably don't mind anyway!

Default Oh my gosh!

I literally thought I was the only girl in the world with this kind of body. Everywhere I go, plus size women have at least DD. I'm between an A and AA so it is horrible going shopping.

Default Measured today

I got my bra size measured today and boy did I get a shock. I am only 5"2, wear a size 24/26. I carry most of my Weight around my stomach. My legs are stupidly skinny for my Weight... You can only imagine my horror when she told me I am an A cup! I am really surprised at how crap it has made me feel. I have PCOS and suffer with excess hair on a lot of my body. I basically feel like she just told me that, aside from my reproductive organs, I am pretty much a man.

Awh girls, you've made me feel so much better.

I am a 38A because of hormonal issues, on another forum someone told me I couldn't be a 38A I must be measuring wrong.

I like them but its just a pain to shop for bras
