Hahahahahaha! I hear you on this one. Actually, my kid pretty much only eats chicken nuggets and french fries (I am so bad at getting her to eat healthy foods), but it does annoy me that kids' menus always seem to be a bunch of unhealthy junk.

Why didn't I think of this before?? : palms face, Googles Olive Garden : They do have a kids menu: mac-n-cheese, pizza, ravioli, chicken fingers, but at least they DO have a create-your-own-pasta option

I'm not a fan of Olive Garden myself but I often glance at kids meals in restaurants and they tend to be the junkiest food available so I don't do kids menus.

bump 11.08: We have a local (strictly Minnesota) small restaurant chain, Emma Krumbee's: their menu offers a section of smaller portions that they say in so many words anybody can order regardless of age

I've explained to a few places that i'm dieting and really need smaller portions and usually depending on your server they will allow you to do it with no issues! Truely, when I go to olive garden i eat soup and salad because it's so addicting lol!
