I used an online calculator - just google waist to hip ratio and a ton of sites come up. You plug in your measurements and they do the math for you. They also tell you what your numbers mean, if they are in the danger zone or not. I would put up a link but I'm too new of a member. Sorry. Hope this helps.

Mine is 0.7 so in the healthy range. As I have lost weight my WHR has gone up.

I have 0,72
But I'd rather lose from both waist and hips a few inches
What always confused me is the difference between hourglass and pear. It is shoulders-hips ratio or breast-hip ratio or waist-hip ratio that counts?
If it is shoulder-hip I am wider at the shoulders, if it is with breasts I am slightly smaller around the breasts.
My body looks pretty ballanced femalish, just a bit too soft and puffy at some spots.

Waist is around the smallest part and hips around the biggest part of the butt.

Mine is .70 (waist 24, hips 34)
Could you believe that at 120 pounds my WTH ratio was .82 ? Like, UNHEALTHY at 120 pounds? I'm a ruler when I'm fatter, haha. My waist was 29 and my hips were 35.

I'm .67, Wikipedia has some interesting reading on the topic.
