Yes, definitely post recipes! I get lots of ideas from other maintainers!

I love the look of the pumpkin raisin muffins.

There is no calculator or formula that can tell you
how much you can eat and exercise to maintain your weight
-- you have to just try it and see.
Then 5 years down the line,
the same thing that worked for the past 5 years might suddenly stop working
and you have to figure out something new.
This is something that I, also, have found to be true.

For anyone interested,
I've made videos of quite of few of my own maintenance recipes,
and posted them at DietHobby . com
under the heading: RECEIPES.

S/C/G: Maintaining 142-148

Height: 5 ft 8.5" athlete who can give a punch & certainly take one too! :)

Hey Joy,
Thanks for the free ticket to the "GUN SHOW", dayum girl you got it goin on! We look like we can give a punch & certainly take one too if needed! Not too shabby for a couple of 44 year olds huh? I think YOUR plan sounds like the "perfect plan" for YOU! Eat, workout & continue to rock it chicka, you look FIT & FABU! What works for ONE will NOT work for ALL obviously..... I think some MAINTAINERS may have gained a few pounds just reading what you plan to incorporate though.... I didn't cringe though, sounds DELISH as does your food as usual. Boo on not having your healthy foods to sell to all in the delivery service you wanted, that would have been AWESOME! Always hoops to jump through in sanitation/ food service though or so it seems.....
FYI, I think making maintenance manageable for a lifetime is KEY & yanno the damn deprivation diet doesn't do it for MOI either I'M A FOODIE, plain & simple I too like to get my EAT on & I do often & I'm of a rare breed round here in MAINTENANCE-LAND & that is A-OK! :carrot We are all unique individuals that have our own plan of attack to maintain. If something isn't working anymore, obviously you may need to scale back somewhere at some point in time, but no use getting your undies in a bunch over that now, take it oneday at a time and continue to roll with it. You've started eating these yummy foods all along in your weightloss plan that dropped your 60 lbs, so **** ya, why not continue eating them in maintenance too!

I'm sure your fully aware that NONE of us are IMMUNE to weight gain, many things in LIFE happen!
That being said, Welcome to MAINTENANCE -LAND JOY, you mader & those 2 lbs will be gone with a good $hit & you'll be at GOALIO! Congrats, AWESOME achievement!

A Lifetime is a long long time and as we get older we may have to tweak things when the metabolism starts to slow down, but we will adjust when that time comes! I'm goin on 4 years 3 months in maintenance & the first 2 years I was a yoyo up down, up down & the last 2 years when I don't think about things to the extreme and just do MY norm & things are far far easier for me. In short, I eat when I'm hungry & workout daily & my jeans- o-meter and shorts-o- meter continue to fit, so I must be doing something right!

Thinking of you, Joy, and of this thread you started, specifically, and wondering how you are coming along.

She hasn't posted since September. I am curious how her plan is working. It wouldn't work for me but our bodies are all different.

I have been thinking about her, too. I sent her a PM a few weeks ago, but she hasn't been on in a long time. I know she was in the process of starting up a business, so maybe that took center stage for the time being.
