Last year I worked closely with a group of people, 2 of which were big Harry Potter fans. They started discussing which "house" each of us would belong to. Surprisingly, neither of them said they would belong in Gryfindor. But, they looked at me and said "Lisa, you are a Gryfindor". I was surprised and asked them why. They said it was because I was brave, strong, and kind. I don't care that much about Harry Potter so it seems kind of silly, but for some reason that compliment really stuck with me.

About two years ago, I was 40 pounds overweight, but I was super fit. I was able to leg press 385 pounds and go on the elliptical trainer at level 25. The teenage son of a friend I hadn't seen in three years saw me on the elliptical trainer, huffing away at level 25. He shouts across the gym, "Mom, Jesse, come look! Mrs. Harper is BAD*SS on the elliptical trainer!"
