I do tilapia a lot of ways. It's a staple for me!

* Simplest way - dredge in a little flour, sprinkle with salt, pepper, turmeric, and cayenne, and pan-fry in a little oil 3-5 minutes on a side.

* Indian spice rub - mix grated ginger, crushed garlic, cumin, cayenne, turmeric, garam masala, salt, pepper, and a little lemon juice to make a paste. Rub on both sides of the fish and let marinate for about 15 minutes. Pan-fry or grill, 3-5 minutes on a side.

* Yucatan chili-lime style - heat a little oil in a pan with sliced chili peppers. Add the juice of 3 or 4 limes and some grape tomatoes or cherry tomatoes. Add the fish, and cook until done (helps to put a cover on the pan after a few minutes). Stir in chopped cilantro, garnish with thinly-sliced garlic which you browned in a little oil while the fish was cooking.

Tilapia is the only type of fish that I eat .. I season it with adobe and sazon and a little melted butter and I add some onions and green peppers all over it and bake it ..then add some mixed veggies on the side with a nice glass of water

I love tilapia. It's tasty and you can cook it in so many ways. I usually season it with salt, pepper and chili powder, then grill it.

I love Tilapia as well. In my area, it's hard to find Tilapia that is not shipped in from China.
