Annie, I think you look great! Regarding the gauntness, I went through a period where my face fell. I did look gaunt and I had the beginnings of jowls. Over time my skin and face has tightened up and filled out. My neck is still kind of loose but that is to be expected at my age, 47. Give it time, your head and your face will catch up to each other.
Eliana, you do not in any way look "horsey" to me. You look awesome! I am tot jeal of your curly hair!
Guam, I sometimes get "those types of comments" too. I think people of are jealous of your success. They want you to gain some weight back so that THEY are more comfortable with your weight. Only you get to decide your weight!
