Saturday I'm helping out at a local yard sale benefit for our
charity quilting group. It's 5:30 am -3 pm. I know that people will bring in their favorite home baked goodies, someone will drop off a couple pizzas, chips dip and all sorts of unealthy junk food to nibble on for us to eat during the sale. This is a time when I'll fall back on old eating habits, I'll be tired, hungry and among friend who are also eating all the junk.
So, I'm now on a dairy free/wheet free diet for my allergies (greatly improved). In the past I'd just pack up some cheese sticks and yogurt along with a nice salad and be happy. But since I'm going dairyless I don't have a clue what to take with me to keep myself from indulging on all these things I definately don't need.
I'm sort of in the phase 1.5, I've been on phase 1 for a couple weeks and I probably should move on into phase 2 but I know from past experience that I tend to go crazy on phase 2 and stop losing. This time I'm doing it slowly and will make a perment change to my diet so the weight will stay off unlike the last time.
So back to the weekend-
veggies sticks with a little tub of hummus, maybe a 3 bean salad.
