Alantra, remember to get in 4 1/2 cups of veggies daily. Also you can have 2 cups of low fat or FF dairy daily. Also 2 Tbs. healthy oils. Welcome to SB!

to The Beach, Alantra! I hope you've read the book so you'll understand the fundamentals of this plan before you got started.

Your menu looks good, except make sure you are getting the required amount of veggies every day. They'll help fill you up, along with including beans and dairy, and will also help in preventing the SBD flu that many Phase 1ers get around the 2nd to 3rd day in.

Come and join us in the Daily thread, so we can get to know you, and please check out our recipe and FAQ section for some great recipes and and helpful information.

Thank you so much for all of the kind words.

I have been reading the book (old one is there a new version?) and reading online.

Here is how yesterday turned out.

Please let me know if I have any glaring faux pas in there..

Breakfast
2 hard boiled eggs
V8 Juice
gross work coffee with splenda and 2% milk (tiny bit)

Snack
Cheese String

Lunch
Brocoli
Brussel Sprouts
Pork Chop
SF Jello

Snack
Red peppers and hummous
Celery and lauging cow

supper was delayed so I ate
15 almonds and string cheese

Supper
Chicken Chili made with ground chicken, onion, red pepper, mixed beans and tomoatoes.
topped with lf sour cream, green onions and a bit of cheese

dessert
SF Jello with light cool whip

I wasn't hungry at all and didn't miss the sugar, grains or fruit at all!!
