I just started taking prenatal vitamins in place of my multi, hoping that it'll help with my hair, nails, and skin. I also take omega 3 fish oil capsules and a calcium/magnesium/zinc tablet. I was thinking of adding some B vitamins for energy but I'm not sure.

I might be a dope...but how does vitamin C help with weight loss?

I had never heard of it, and missed it the first time I read this thread, so I did a search.. apparently low vitamin C levels are correlated with obesity, maybe because vitamin C is required for the production of L-carnitine, which is involved in using fat for energy. http://www.simplyantiaging.com/617/v...c-weight-loss/

Patchouli, you don't sound like a supplement freak. Wait till you hear what I take....after reading all the responses I'm definately the freak. (waving hello to everyone, I've never posted in this forum before)

"neurological health formula" multi vitamin (iron free-my iron tends to be on the high side) for general health
Alive whole foods vitamin (also iron free) for general health & immunity
2 probiotic supplements for digestive health & immunity
vitamin D3 because I live in the midwest and get little sun important for cancer prevention
iodoral (iodine supplement) for thyroid health
methyl b12 sublingual for energy
ora-liv, a dessicated liver supplement for liver health support
ora-kidney, for kidney health/support
ora-adrenal, for adrenal gland support and energy
green vibrance, green foods drink for health, engery, digestion, immunity
fiber supplement for digestion & hunger
I also take herbal formulas from a traditional chinese medicine doctor for migraines and hypothyroid.

I sound like a nut, don't I!

I Take a

multi vitamin
Flaxseed oil- to lower bad cholesterol and raise the good cholesterol
kelp- for thyroid function
COQ 10 - for the heart
