Is that too much. The book said whole eggs aren't portioned unless u go to your doctor and he/she says not to eat too much of eggs. I love it scrambled but not boiled, although that's the best way to eat them. I'll find out tommorrow how my body adjusted to it when I get on the scale.
My first year of college, I brought my lunch and always had scrambled eggs. One of my fav lunches on SBD is a soft boiled egg on Ezekial toast. On SBD I am happy with being very repetetitive for breakfast and lunch, and I rotate dinners. If I get tired of something, I simply switch.
Hey Lexi, some say eating the same thing everyday is a good thing while some say it's bad, lol. It seems to be working for me (my repetitive eating). I wore a size 20 skirt and it fit.
I picked up on repetitive meals from Dr. Oz book, You on a Diet. He encouraged it, saying that it was less planning which made it easier to have good meals-I seem to remember his suggestion was for breakfast and lunch. I can say for me, those are two meals that always work for me having the same thing.
I don't think it's good or bad, it's just what works for you individually. I think it would be boring for some.
FO, overall, it's probably okay. However, eggs do have some bad fats, I believe, and eating them in moderation is key to keeping those from being a problem. You may want to limit them to one meal. Are you eating vegetables with them? If not, you definitely need to add them in. The eggs will make you feel full longer, but you won't feel nearly as full in the first place without some fibrous food, like veggies. Eating mostly protein (and some dairy) is a mistake we see a lot of new SBD dieters doing, especially in Phase 1. You want to make sure you're getting a mix of food, which leads me to possible issue #2: if you stick with the same thing every day, you may end up so bored that you'll fall of the wagon (a.k.a. the "I can't keep eating salads, so I quit!" issue...). While there are some people who thrive with eating the same thing everyday, many people don't feel that way. If you know that you'll eventually get bored, start mixing it up now, okay? Maybe try some egg-based variations, like a frittata or a dutch baby.
