Yummm everything sounds great.
I think my favorite go-to meal that doesn't require much cooking is a yummy wrap: I use a cedar's wrap (80 cals), laughing cow cheese spread (35 cals) and turkey slices (50 cals). I add baby spinach, tomato and cucumber. All for under 200 calories! Delicious!

Rolled oats (uncooked) with light vanilla soymilk and dried cranberries or raisins. YUM! It's tasty, healthy and SO filling! It doesn't take much and it keeps you full for a long time.

I sometimes add roasted, unsalted sunflower seeds for crunch or a drizzle of honey if I want it sweeter.

I know eating raw oatmeal sounds weird, but try it sometime! It's good and chewy instead of all mushy. It's like eating granola that's just fallen apart in the milk. haha

I've found the exact same thing to be true for me, too! I much prefer healthier foods now...they just taste better.

That is so true! And it's also so difficult to explain to people. All the more reason this place rocks

I live fish and roasted veggies! And for dessert I eat those slim a bear 100 cal ice cream sandwiches.

My new thing is the trader joe's chicken sausages. They're precooked and come in a lot of flavors. I can put them in lots of things. Chopped up in wild rice with spinach is one of my favs.

You guys are making me want to dig through the freezer section at Trader Joe's!

A really flavorful salad that will satisfy a pizza craving: one ball of fresh mozzarella, diced, on a bed of spinach with 3 small vine-ripened tomatoes. Drizzle olive oil & vinegar and sprinkle with basil, salt & pepper. Under 200 calories.

Protein boost that I think of as a sunday: one non-fat Greek yogurt (I like Fageh) served with raw honey on top. The yogurt is 90 calories, with 15 grams of protein!!!

I have to add this. I bought some new cereal yesterday - FiberOne Carmel Delight [Crunchy Whole Wheat Squares]. I wanted to try them because they looked just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal so I was curious. I just had some this morning with a little soy milk and some sliced strawberries. OH MY GOODNESS...I could eat that every meal. It tastes WAY better than that icky sweet Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It has tons of fiber and just one bowl of it was quite satisfying. Fantastic.

I just wanted to share.

PS, is Trader Joes one of those places that Arkansas hasn't discovered yet? I've never heard of it...I feel a little backwoods right now. lol

I live in Indiana and we have some Trader Joes grocery stores... but they are mostly in Indianapolis and there are none in the town where I go to school.

Oh my goodness I feel so bad for you ladies without Tradr Joes!
I love them!!! Reasonable prices and a lot of unusual stuff.
I just bought a frozen roasted vegetable and multigrain lasagna from them last week. I was a bit a skeptical, but it was sooooo good!!! Even my boyfriend who is a meat and potato kind of guy loved it!!

I just had my favorite meal.

You don't feel like you're on a diet when you're eating a loaded juicy burger and savory fries!

I grill a turkey burger with garlic and whatever spice mix sounds good at the moment. Stack on as many veggies that I want, this time I just put it on one of those whole wheat thin 100-cal buns. For the fries I sliced a sweet potato into thin wedges and lightly sprinkled ground cummin and a bit of garlic powder on them.

240 cal 4oz turkey patty
100 cal bun
couple calories in veggies (tomato slice, onion slice, some lettuce)
3oz sweet potato fries = about 75 cal

Not too bad for a burger and fries
