I'm a little late to the party, but I figured better late than never!

My goals for April:

*Take Multi-vitamin daily!
*NO soda!
*Say goodbye to the 300s!
*Exercise at least 3x a week!
*Laugh every chance I get!

Here's to making April a FANTASTIC month!

Better late than never is so correct Kayla.
I'm still working on Days 1 and 3 while moving forward in the book. I need to read my advantages for sticking to my healthy habits twice a day and when i feel like going off plan and sit down while eating. It's hard to break the habit of giving in to my wants but I need to say no to myself once in awhile and realize that the outcome far outweighs the indulgence. I didn't realize how much nibbling I do while preparing meals. All things to improve upon.

Glad to hear that it's going well for you Lynn.

WOW Goodnuff, those are hard things to work on! Good for you for hitting them head on!! BTW, you said it is hard breaking the habit of "giving into your wants" but really you are just choosing to say "yes" to another "want"...to be healthy! It's all about choices! I LOVE that I have choices!
Welcome Kayla! Glad to have you join us.
I lost 2.2 at my weigh in on Saturday. I have 6.6 to go for this month. It will be close but I am feeling goo right now. Not too good with exercising but I have been being active and not sitting around so that is good.
Hope everyone has a good week.

Corren - Welcome! I am pretty new here as well. It is a great place!

With respect to swim suits - you might want to check out swimoutlet (dot com). They have reasonable priced suits in plus sizes.

I have always been a onepiece girl, but I have become a huge tankini (2piece) fan - they are flattering and easier to deal with than trying to wriggle into and out of a 1piece at my current size. I have gotten some really good deals on there recently. I see on several of their styles they go up to 32W, so hopefully you'll find something that fits. With swimwear you can usually wear one size smaller than you'd otherwise wear. Good luck finding something that works for you!

So, I am halfway to my goal for the month! I lost 5 lbs last week, so I'm hoping I can keep on with it. I've been good on all my other goals except physical therapy. I need to get on the ball with that because my PT is going to kick my (rapidly shrinking) behind!

@ Swimsuit shopping I second tankini's it also means you can shop for sizes that FIT you for your different body types I bought two last summer I bought 3x in the bottoms and 4x in the tops since I carry more weight up top. I still love them, best swimsuit purchases ever!

My undeclared wellness goal (or maybe I wrote it down somewhere) has just been to work out consistently even when work stress is crazy. So far so good.

Yay for being halfway to your goal at only 1/3 of the way through the month! Good luck with PT!

Great job ladies, look at all of those losses....woot woot!
I'll have to check out that swimsuit site as I finally got the go-ahead to go back in the pool.
Tonight is my first night back at work since surgery. lad to be working one off one, i have a feeling I'm going to be exhausted.
Glad to see so many of us staying active. I'm mapping all o my walks mapmywalk.com, it's fun to see the total miles..so far 10.65 since march 31. Well on my way to being ready for the March for Babies.
Have a good one girls!

2. 2000 calories burned in the pool each week (my budgeted amount is 1500 - this means one more half hour per week).
3. Appropriate eating while out of town over the Easter holiday. I already expect it will be more calories than I've been averaging, and that's ok - I just have to focus on portion control.
Since yesterday was the halfway point for the month, I wanted to report on how I'm doing so far. It is a bit of a mixed bag. I have doing a little after dinner snacking, but only three times so far, and minor calories. As for swimming, I only got in 1500 last week, but this week I've done 2500. So I'm ahead if you look at the average. As for my last one, that will be the big test for the month and i hope to have good news when I do the final wrap up for the month.

Good luck to everyone else as we head into the back half of the challenge.
