Last week I felt like I was the fattest woman in the world. And the most hopeless. I have been overweight all my life. Having joined 3fatchicks and reading the wonderful stories of support, I find my eyes now immediately going to the commenters weight ticker and the amazing weight losses. I no longer feel alone, or hopeless.

Oh, I understand that alone and hopeless feeling! Rest assured that you are not alone and that weight loss is possible. Just take it one step at a time, one day at a time! I started this journey in my 50s and have been successful this time. You can do this and you are not alone.

That's how I'm feeling, excited! I've never felt that way starting out on a diet before but that's what this site does. It excites. I want the ticker. I want to see the weight dropping away. I want to say to a newbie "You can do it just like I did!" Thank you all for your support. And lavieboheme73, its good to meet you too
