Ugh, period came with a vengeance today. It actually woke me up at 6:45 today. Craaaaaamps. Weighed in at 191.3. 180s you are mine!!!! at some point...

Lacyt74, don't get discouraged. You can be bummed about it for sure, but never ever give up. Sometimes your body just stalls out for a while. On New Years Day I finally made it to 199.9 lbs. Then I proceeded to lose and gain the same 3 lbs for the next 21 days. Heck on January 21st I weighed in at 199.0. You can imagine my fricken joy after 3 weeks of working my butt off being in the gym, lifting weights doing cardio 6 or 7 days a week and I lost .9 lbs. Fan-freakin-tastic... Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Fatness has just lost another 20 lbs in the same amount of time. How does she do it????? I don't even want to fathom her discipline. She just amazes me! But on the 28th I had finally progressed to a mid 190s set point. Since then I've been on agreeable terms with my scale. And I weigh daily!

curlysue82 I take kettlebell class every Wednesday at the gym I go to. I also take a circuit training class and two cardio boxing classes a week and they will sometimes have kettlebell exercises in them. My weekly KB class is only 30 minutes long and if the class is small and the people are regulars then we have a grand old time. Cuz our instructor is a bit silly at times and the rest of us girls (there's always more women than men in our classes) just talk and tell stories. Of course we're working out, but its fun. If there are new people then our instructor has to actually spend more time instructing and he doesn't have time to sing to us in that high-pitched falsetto BeeGees voice like he normally does. Booo.

So frustrated with these 190's! They like to hang on for dear life don't they? Last week I only lost .2 lbs and this week .8. Last week was TOM so I expected it, but I thought I would have a better week this week. I am doing 45-60 minutes of cardio 3-5 times a week and counting calories. I'm wondering if I am not getting enough calories in (?)

i am right there with ya weighed in this morning at 190 ... commmmmmmmmmme on already 180's ... tick tick tick ..

Ya the classes are good fun and great for having a chat and a workout eases the pain, i'm trying to save now so hence the DVD but i love the classes..

Concminus40 the 190 are so annoying... hang in there
they do move eventually... i was hanging around them for the whole of Jan trying to move it, and changed up my food this week and the lbs started to shift if your working out loads maybe your not eating enough ... are you drinking lots of water? I know i wasn't now drinking 2lts and its helping i think.. Best of luck

i am hoping ..to be signing in tomorrow to say goodbye to the 190's ...

Default Surprised myself this morning

Decided to weigh myself this morning and I was happily shocked to see the scale show 178.8 lbs.

OMG - I was shocked. I was expecting 184-183 tops, but I didn't think I was doing that well, ya know? To cover my bases, I weighed myself again after lunch (to factor in water weight and some food) and weighed in at 181 lbs. Still awesome and lower than expected.

All I've been doing is sticking to calories and did 1 cardio workout and 2 weight lifting routines this week. I even had a few cheat treats (ice cream and a cosmo drink) too.

While weighing myself every day - even every week - isn't always the best option for me, today's early weigh-in gave me the motivation to stick with my calories and workouts because they really are working for me. So I changed my ticker and here we are.

Just wanted to share This support community has been so helpful and you deserve to know how your stories and encouragement impact my weight loss journey. So happy to have you all in my corner cheering me on!

So...I've been weighing myself at irregular intervals. I saw 189 two weeks ago, and on Saturday, I weighed in at 188.8. But for the most part, I seem to be stuck at 190.4. So here I sit wondering and waiting for the 0.4 to budge. I think this temporary block is most mental since my previous low weight is 190. Also, I've had a lot of salty food of late, and that cannot be helping. Where is everyone else at today?

coffeeshopgirl - wow - have fun in all of the lower weight boards

188.2 today. I've been bouncing around 190 for 3 weeks now, but I'm going to join the 180s thread today. I'll stick around here until I go 2 weeks below 190. A 2 pound daily swing is normal for me so I'm still not out of range.

This is my new adult low weight and I'm honestly frightened that I'm just going to fail again. I have to stay positive!!!

Oh no qtee! Sorry to hear that I hope the ankle isn't too bad and heals soon so you can use your new treadmill.

I'm getting an elliptical in the next few weeks (yay tax refund!) and I'm so excited!
