Hi chicks, I did not do so well today, I am ashamed to say I ate some peanut M&Ms this afternoon. DD and I were running around and we had lunch at Quizno's but I only had a side salad and diet pepsi, and the rest of the turkey from inside her sub that she didn't finish. So feeling very virtuous, for some reason I decided I DESERVED that candy. This is such a pattern for me. I can face the big challenges, no problem - go to the buffet and stay on plan, go on vacation for a week and lose 2 lbs, it's AFTER I am successful, that sneaky little voice tells me I deserve a reward for being so strong. And my brain just turns off. I'd like to squish that little voice. Maybe I will try to focus on that image next time. Well, it's not the end of the world, the rest of the day has been on plan, and at least peanut M&Ms are relatively low glycemic for candy.

So today was busy but fun. We were up early so DD could volunteer to help at the Lion's Club breakfast. Then we went clothes shopping and then grocery shopping together. We hit a great sale and got some cute stuff. We fooled around with the Wii Fit for a while, and it told me I am a fatty McFatfat, and my Wii age is 58. Stupid Wii. Dinner is in the oven, and I think DD and I will go to see Coraline tonight and make a real girl's day of it, since DS and DH both have plans.

Here's my food:
B: scrambled eggs, French toast, turkey sausage, coffee with milk
L: side salad with turkey and ranch dressing, diet pepsi
S: peanut M&Ms
S2: skim mozzarella cheese stick, roasted cauliflower
D: chili with avocado,
S: faux chocolate blizzard, maybe a little popcorn with the movie

Tomorrow will be better.
Love the avatar Lottie! I always wonder when people say eating healthy is so expensive. How expensive are oatmeal and beans?
mj, sounds like a nice, low-key weekend. How was the stir fry? I have the same issue with water. It's part of my weekday routine, but since I am out of my routine, I sometimes just don't get around to filling that bottle on the weekend. I am also usually home working during the week, so it doesn't matter if I pee every five minutes. But if I am running on the weekend, that can be a real pain.
Stay cool nicolen! That is one of DH's hugest pet peeves, being rushed in a restaurant. He will always speak to the manager about this and the tip suffers greatly.
redflame, I hope you are finding your weekend rejuvenating.
Great job resisting the cake Waterton Girl! Hope you enjoyed thinking day!

I am just stopping by for a quick hello. I've been working on my taxes most of the day.

I've been doing better with my food today. I am grateful

Schmoodle - I get that 'mindset' too. I've done so well...I must deserve unplanned chocolate. Duh!!!! (I am saying dug to ME..not you)

I'll catch up tomorrow.
