Default Knees & Kickboxing?

I am new around here & full of questions.

I have recently started kickboxing, which we do barefooted. During warm-ups and sometimes during class, we do some jumping-jacks. In the last few classes, I have noticed my knees are hurting mostly on the inside. I have changed how far apart my feet go and how I land, i.e. on the ball of my feet or flat feet.

I would appreciate any advice/suggestions/helpful hints. Thank you!

Speak to your instructor. He/she should be able to tell you if the cause is a form issue, a common discomfort that occurs early on during training, or something more serious than that. If it is something more serious than that, he/she likely will be able to refer you to a qualified medical professional and/or modify your workouts around the issue until it is resolved.

Thanks, Depalma!

I made an appointment today with a doc today. All day today, my knees were hurting. I can't have injury this early into exercising. It would be devastating.
