Hi Everyone
Just thought I would get on here for a few.
See how everyone is feeling.
Hope everyone is feeling better.
Not much going on here.
Waiting on some clothes to finish drying and washing.
Ran around today. So have to play catch up now.
Went to the Mall. Didnt buy anything.
Then went out to eat. Went to Bob Evans. I got the grilled chicken there. I think it is really good.
Then went and visited hubby's sister.
Then went and checked out where a bar and antique store had burned this morn. Not much left.
Then came home.
Early today. Had some black ice. Brother in law ran into a ditch. But wasnt hurt. And his car wasnt damaged.
Well I will get off here for now.
Hope everyone has had a great day.
And having a relaxing evening.

Hi Chicks,

Tomorrow is my first core weigh in at WW. It hasn't been an easy week! I haven't acquired a taste for brown rice or whole wheat pasta yet. And I'm eternally blotted.

I'm hoping next week will be better.

Hi Lulie and welcome to Core! You'll get used to it. Make sure you drink plenty of water. It seems to be even more important on Core than Flex, probably because of all the fiber. Fiber turns to cement if you don't wash it through! Well...sort of anyway.

Try making your brown rice with chicken, beef, or vegetable broth. Just replace the water with broth. I only make it with broth now. Also, I eat the Racconto brand of whole wheat pasta and I love it. Try some new brands. I find there is a difference between brands.

The water will help with the bloat a lot. I drink at least 6-8 glasses of water in addition to my other non-decaf beverages.

Not much going on here. Went to church. Then out to eat. Then went to brother in laws. Then came home. And that has been about it.

Hi lulie and welcome - like Vickie says water is supremely important - and I have developed a great fondness for brown basmati rice - you might want to see if you can find that - very yummy!

Sandra - you go girl - I am so proud of you - Glad to see you are in top form! congrats to dh too of course!

Vickie - how are you doing? Hope all is well at your end!

Coco - glad BIL did not get hurt - that black icy is so scary!

At least we had some sunshine today and milder temps! Took dd to dance studio for rehearsal - she is supposed so sit and watch - not allowed to dance yet. Her eating is still not great - but she is thrilled to have lost 8 lbs and thinks not eating to lose weight is a good idea! (I am trying not to get too involved in this line of thinking if you know what I mean!). Bought her some more soft snacks - and hoping she brings something with her to school (she is known for not eating breakfast or lunch!).

Very tired but instead of lying down I donned my very chic leg weights and pulled out the arm weights and did my routine! I know I should at least be doing the weight training once at home (in addition to the 2 nites during the week) AND on every other day doing something else (cardiovascular like walking/etc)....i am such a lazy frouf tho and it is so hard for me to get motivated - I am focusing on the fact that the exercise will help with the insulin resistance and get me off all of those nasty pills (which are still affecting my tummy by the way ), Have a dr appt (follow up) so will ask about my bp and further bloodwork - I have my annual in a month so have to get in shape for that! ha ha ha

Good Morning Chicks. No improvement here at all but I'm trying to remain positive. I have more tests today and tomorrow. I should know more in about a week.

In the meantime, I've been eating well (although blandly) and drinking my water. In essence, I've been following my program with the exception of exercise.

Hi all. We have our private party tonight where we invite all kinds of friends and business contacts to try our products for free. Lots of work to be done, but it should be fun. Unfortunately, we have a big storm moving in today...AGAIN. I'm getting really, really tired of all this ice and snow. Sigh.

Oh well. Gotta run. Just thought I'd let you all know I'm still alive.
