Hi everyone I am still around! I am currently at 150 and my goal which is also my June 19th challenge is 143. Only 7lbs! I can do this!!!! Anything less is even better. My 1year anniversary is June 21 and I am in a wedding June 26th. My bridesmaid dress is my motivation right now (even though she did an awesome job picking them out they they look great on everyone) I also bought a slinky fabric kind of hawaiian print dress today. The rehearsal is a Luau and man that thing sure shows the curves so i need to work on the love handles a bit and I am great to go!
Update on 50DTS challenge - As of 5/13, I have put in a total of 555 mins. (9 hrs., 15 mins.). I was BAD for 5 days (Friday-Tuesday) but I kept up the exercise so I'm not expecting a gain on Saturday (my new weigh-in day with my new, more accurate scale), so I've still got 9 lbs. to lose in about 4.5 weeks, doable. I'm ready 170s, here I come!
Gosh, Jen everytime I check out your signature I get excited for you! You'll in 1derland at your next weigh-in AND surpassing your 50-lbs. lost mark! You're a star!
I'm calling a do-over! I have not been on track at all. I've been walking more and drinking more water, but pool nights and rushed meals have been wrecking my goals. I still haven't weighed in. Today I'll be done subbing at 1:30 then I'm getting ready for a garage sale with my mom. She's lost 30 pounds since the beginning of March so I always get a little more focused around her. So this weekend I'm starting over.
Tomorrow is a big street dance outside my apartment until 1 AM. It will be noisy as **** so if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. For those of you that don't live in rural-ville USA, street dances are a town-wide event with beer gardens and lousy music. It should be fun. Then Sunday starts graduation season. I'm going to my cousin's high school graduation a few hours away then next week I get on the road to Idaho for my boyfriend's cousin's. A week with bf's meat and potato family. We should be doing a lot of touristy things like Devil's Tower and Yellowstone. We might even go white-water rafting if its open for the season. So I need to buy shorts for the trip. Not looking forward to that. After I get home, I'm going to kick it in to high gear. Maybe I'll at least be able to drop a few pounds during the 50-day challenge.
Congrats to everyone that is staying on track, and good luck to everyone like me that is lagging behind a little.
OK. Finally checking in with my progress. So far, I've lost 1.75 pounds. My goal of 172 is still 8.25 pounds away, but with about a month of time left before the challenge ends, I think it's doable. I've just got to stay motivated and on track!
Congrats to all the losers! It sounds like everyone is doing well so far.
I recalculated my time so far and I'm at 1,120 minutes so far. To be on track to meeting my goal of 2,500 minutes, I needed to be 1,071 minutes by now, so I'm approx. one day ahead, which is great! And last time I peeked at a scale, it said 186 - but I've got to have an official weigh-in, which I'll do tomorrow morning (hopefully I'll remember - I'm learning not to be so dependent on the scale!) because that was at noon, after two meals, so maybe it'll be even better! I think I'm going to make this goal! 4 weeks left!
Just checking in again - I really need to refocus. I've been REALLY off a couple of days this week, and I was over calories yesterday. I'm trying to get used to going to the new gym - I know I need to, but it's so different and I'm still adjusting. Anyways, I'm now at 1,312 mins. total and weighed in at 185 Monday. Unfortunately, my off eating probably caused that to go up at least a pound. Oh well - it'll be gone soon enough. I'm still on track for 180 by June 19, so that's good. Since this challenge is halfway over, I need to be at 1,250 mins. and I'm still above that by over an hour - so yea!
