When you can't sleep on your side because your hipbones hurt, not to mention the kneecaps haha
This^^
I had to go into the back of the closet and dig out the memory foam "knee" pillow my mom gave me a few years ago. My knee bones are starting to hurt from rubbing together at night.
- When you're on the last notch of your belt
- When you NEED that belt in order to hold up your pants
- When you can cross your legs! (At 190, I could not really achieve this without it being somewhere nearer to a 90-degree leg-cross)
- When your formerly invisible collarbones are more defined
When your collarbones are so sharp they can cut glass. (Colla!)
When you need a belt to hold up your sweatpants.
When you need to make extra notches in your belt because you have gone way past the last notch.
When your muffin top has almost disappeared completely.
When you can finally wrap a towel around your body without seeing any flesh showing.
When you can do the downward dog in yoga without collapsing before the instructor says so.
When you can see the bones in the front of your neck and feel the spinal bones on the back of your neck.
Um, when your favorite stretchy workout pants are falling off of you while trying to do jumping jacks (true story). Those quickly turned into one-armed jacks.
HAHA this happened to me today!!! It was an annoying yet great feeling!!!
For me:
I can now do 6 REAL MAN pushups when I started I couldn't even do 1
I can see not only my toes in the shower but my feet!!!
I no longer have boobs on my back so my bra fits so much better now LOL
That crossing leg thing... wow. I vaguely recall the last time I tried to cross my legs last summer (2010) and I couldn't. I didn't put two and two together that it was because of my weight but I do remember wondering "When did that happen (me not being able to cross my legs)?"
Haven't bothered since until THIS VERY THREAD.... and OMG I can cross my legs again! YAY! I missed this soo much. Little things in life.
Boney knees, boney ankles... I need to invest in some foam to wrap around my legs soon.
Another for the list:
- Not only do you stop dreading the stairs, but you don't even take a moment to think about them, you just go up them like a walk in the park
When you post a FULL BODY pic on facebook for the first time in 5 years.. Yep.. Did that yesterday!!! I am not happy with how I look but I finally look acceptable enough to post my pic!!
When you're walking to the bus stop to go to work and your underwear falls way past your a$$. Could have looked like I was wearing a nappy, it was embarrassing, amazing and funny all at the same time!

No kidding! I just did that for the first time since I have had FaceBook. It's nothing to write home about but I am no longer trying to cut out bits of my arms so I'll look smaller.
