Default Inspiration

So I had a mini-marathon over the past couple of days and watched all of MTV's "I Used to be Fat." In it each participant receives a huge calendar counting down the number of days to get to their goal weight. Every day they rip it off and (hopefully) have a sense of accomplishment that they worked out and ate right another day and are one day closer to that coveted number on the scale. Well, I don't have a personal trainer and don't have time to work out 4 hours a day most days but I do have wall space! I love the idea of making something that is a constant reminder of what I am striving to do. I can always forget to log on here or dailyplate for a few days but with something on my wall it's always looking at me until I get down to my goal weight. So today during my lazy TV watching and p90x prepping I made a little collage. On it are post it's with a weight from 183 (my starting) to 135 (my goal). Some have little reminders like 10 lb down, 25% BMI - Normal, 5 lb to go. Etc. Then I added a few pics to keep me motivated.
Anyone else do anything like this or am I the only dork around here?

I've seen a few posts wishing they had that calendar.
Good for you for doing it, and good luck!

Haha! Very cute! I too was inspired by I used to be fat! However, I just took a notebook and numbered the pages and tacked it on my wall. I'm counting down backwards until August 13, the day of my aunts wedding that I'm standing up in. I really like that you put the lbs up! I would feel so accomplished "taking the lbs off" ! I might have to switch mine up!!!

Such a cute idea!
The show definitely has served as motivated for me in many ways. Most recently, last thursday was an intended "rest" day for me and I was watching the show and was seemingly guilted into doing some sort of exercise haha

Your calender is so pretty! It would certainly motivate me. I am obsessed with I Used to be Fat, I DVR it, hehe.

I'm stealing this one! And, you're totally not alone Logan. I've got calendars and reminders of my goals and plans ALL over my apartment. I also have a bracelet on which I put a pretty bead for every day I'm on plan.

You've inspired me to do the same! I have post its on my desktop now =) Thank you soo much for your brilliant idea. I don't think it's dorky at all. I haven't watched "I used to be fat" yet, will start watching it online. They haven't started showing it in Malaysia yet. I am glad that you are so motivated to lose weight, not to mention committed. Thanks for the idea again, hope you don't mind me copying it =p
