I'm surprised at how universal the 90's culture was, apart from some of the tv shows and a few of the other points, I grew up with pretty much everything on that list. Slap bracelets, furbies, power rangers, light up trainers, the macarena, we even had the oregon trail on at school. God love the 90s.

My sisters each had a tamagotchi then when we got bored we got a furby each. My mum thought they were cute and liked it when they'd sit in a circle and chat to eachother, my dad hated them with a passion, he had to really control himself to not break them when they made all their little noises lol.

My Mum isn't the lovey dovey type, but I knew she loved us because when we were at school where tamagotchi's were banned she'd take them to work and look after them so they didn't die!!
