BOB: This month's shipment has honeybelle tangelos and navels. The tangelos are incredible! Just dripping with juice.... You are welcome to send me a box of the tangerines...

Default So YAY

Ok I finished my day of way less carbs/Starchy items. I think you all are right. Although the day was rough I realized just how many starchy items I was eating. Almost 7 if you count bread as 1 pr slice.

Today's menu went like this (and I was hungrier than usual--apparently the starchy items made me less hungry) or I just thought about it more then I usually do. it didn't help I was also snowed in, so no gym. Blah

B- Heritage (natures path) and Milk (1 starch)
B- (hr later) 1 C FF cottage cheese, I container applesauce w/ cinnamon
S-2 PC sprout Bread w/ tbs Pb (2 Starch's)
L-2 C Broccoli and 4 oz tomato chx
S-Apple, ww van Yogurt, 1 1/2 C Blueberries (frozen)
D-Turkey Meatloaf 2oz, broccoli, sum squash, zucini (sp)
Dessert-diet hot choc mixed in coffee with milk

Then I brushed my teeth--Today was tough. I felt like I was hungry all day. It will just take adjusting used to. Im willing to do whatever it takes to loose. Being stuck is tough. Hopefully everyone elses' day was better.

Good evening everyone. My soup turned out good but don't know how Steve will like it. He's not big on veggies but needs to lose weight to. Eating has been good today. I'm just now having a snack. Which was a green banana that I will count as two fruits and a tiny square 70% chocolate.

Monet- Its been so long since I made homemade pizza I may have to try that again.

Ray- Oh my gosh I'm glad my soup didn't do that to me. LOL

Bob- My gosh the traffic sounds horrid. I don't blame you I wouldn't want to go out either.

wants- Congrads on that 1/2 lb.

Gym- I would have to have another oz. of that meatloaf it sounds tasty.

Well off to tv land. Have a good night.

GymRat: probably you were just thinking about food all day. that happens to me when i change my diet. everytime i eat something i'm thinking "ok, if i eat X now then i can't have Y later..." and so on and i get all obsessed with what i'm going to eat later on. once you get used to eating this way it shouldn't be as bad.

breakfast:
steel cut oatmeal with lite butter, cinnamon, 1 packet splenda (i bought blueberries yesterday and forgot them!)

snack:
clementine

lunch:
low carb tortilla with tuna, mayo, pickles, soy cheese
clementine

snack:
apple
light string cheese

dinner:
salad with romaine, feta cheese, sunflower seeds, cucumber, creamy caesar
toni's stew recipe

snack:
hot chocolate (made with 1 cup skim milk, 1 T plain cocoa, and 1 packet sweetener and some cinnamon)--is that OK? i know you can have chocolate that's more than 60% cocoa, so i'm guessing it is, but sometimes things are surprising.

Good evening everyone. I started this week out great, I did not eat anything I wasn't supposed to and I did an hour of exercise (step). I weigh in on Wednesday and I hope I see a drop but if not no big deal, I will just keep plugging at it until I get there!!! My only real problem I see is that I often eat dinner very late, any suggestions on how much and what I should eat when I eat real late (between 9 and 10). Thanks and have a great night everyone!!!

CHRGRL: the cocoa and skim milk concoction is fine! Cocoa is ok. No sugar!

SANDY: If you HAVE to eat dinner that late, then by all means, make it very light! NO starches...just lean protein and veggies.
