Hello all...I am so glad the weekend is over. My parents were down to visit...had a great visit, but too much company = too much food in the house. My FIL came up on Saturday and brought dinner. I don't know how many people he thought were here...OMG...he brought a HUGE tray of ziti and a HUGE tray of chicken parm. He also brought a huge thing of salad, but that didn't have dressing or anything on it, so I'm ok with that. The amount of leftovers...OMG! Yesterday my MIL came up to watch the game with us, so we got a few pizzas and had that along with the leftovers from Saturday. Oh, forgot to add that there was some ice cream cake Saturday night, too. Ugh...just sucks. I'm really hoping that it won't show up too much in my WI tomorrow. When I weighed myself on Saturday morning, I was down 3lbs, so I really had good intentions to be good, hoping to squeeze out a few more lbs. Now I'm just hoping that I kept off those 3lbs!

I haven't reposted my goals in awhile, so I think I'm going to do that so they are fresh in my head. I'm adding some new ones, too...
1. To wear that black dress for dh's xmas party.
2. To fit into those jeans that I bought awhile ago...ya know, though...I'm thinking about taking them back because I'm wondering if they were sized wrong. I have the same pair from last year in that size, and they are too big. But these pair from this year are too tight. They are the same fit, same size, same color. I don't mean like a little tight, I mean like really tight, where the ones from last year I can pull off without unzipping them. Go figure. Anyway...
3. To be in ONEderland by Christmas.
4. To be in Christmas pictures with my family and not cringe when I look at them.
5. To drink 2 refills of my water container a day.
6. To start journaling daily, no matter what.

Anyway...sorry I'm not more personal today, but I need to get cracking on some stuff for school.

I'll probly post later...
Hope everyone has a good day!

Great of you to repost your goals Paige! I thought I was the only one who avoided cameras. I MAY even try to have everyone get together over Christmas to have our immediate family picture taken.

Vanessa - you are doing great. CONGRATS on the race outcome too! WHOO HOO!

Linda - I WILL get to that Richard Simmons video tonight.

I'm starting to get overwhelmed about the thoughts of Thanksgiving. I started some of the things that needed to get done for that day but if EVERYONE who might show up comes, I'm looking at close to 40 people at some point during that day. Not everyone will sit for dinner but YIKERS!!!! BIL and his wife are home from Korea and everyone is anxious to see them. They've been gone for a year. So there is NO WAY I'm going to limit the holiday from anyone. It will be fine. I have great helpers and it will be fine. I keep repeating that mantra over and over. I'm making the shopping list and planning what I'm going to eat during that whole week this week. Then I don't have to stop and wonder what's next. I'll know it and I won't have to stress over the WW thing.

It's going great and I feel great. Let's hope it all stands up to the stress.

Gotta be short here........and unfortunately not enough time to go back to the other page and read.

Vanessa- you won a race!!!!!!!!! How awesome!!!! (something I never did)

Rose- game plan, game plan, game plan............you will survive THanksgiving. Wow what a large crowd! Got any good WW recipes you will sneak into your meal? (ever try the pumpkin mousse? it is awesome)

Paige- kiss the weekend overeating goodbye........start fresh today!!!! Hopefully the scale fairy will be kind to you. The good news is that you began 3# less, so you know that will come off again if it has to!

Had a rough weekend eating, but not horrible. Got my walk in this am.......and am going to a step class at my church tonite. So far today I have been OP.
Gotta go get a ton of stuff done.
Forgive me for being rushed and not addressing everyone.

My Weigh In was this morning--down THREE lbs. Whoa. I'll TAKE it! That leaves 2 more to go for my November mini goal. Hope I can hang in there and not get into the thinking that goes "Gee, if I go over my points, I have plenty of time to make up the weight gain and still make goal". Dumb, but I DO that sometimes!

Vanessa- I have not done step in at least 6 months.......usually aerobics (WW tape) or walk. Hopefully I will not be sore!

Put the step out next to the door......no excuses here.........I hope!

Hi all...this board has been so busy lately!

Well, I weighed in today, and I kept off those 3lbs. Ya know what I'm kind of wondering, though? On the Wendie plan you are supposed to have your high day 3 days before your WI. I'm wondering if maybe I should move my WI to Wednesdays. My thinking is that since I am always below pts during the week, and then above pts on the weekend (mainly Sunday,) maybe it's sort of like a modified Wendie plan? Do you think moving my WI one day would make a difference? Not that I'm giving myself the liberty to overeat, but you know what I mean. I know last week on my WI, the same thing kind of happened...I had McDonalds on Sunday, and by Tuesday was only down not quite a lb. But by Wednesday, I was down the three and kept it off throughout the week. Hmmm...any thoughts? So I am excited anyway, because I am in single digits to reach my xmas goal! WOOOHOO! I just got a little tingle down my spine when I thought of how I'd feel when I hit that 199 mark. Holy shcmoly it's been a little more than 5 years...it's crazy what marriage and two kids will do to ya. I don't think that people can really tell yet that I've lost weight, but I am definately feeling it in my clothes. It's a slight change, but a change. I should put on my suck-em-in panty hose and try on that black dress.

Everyone is making me feel so bad about not exercising. Seriously, though, after this semester is over I WILL get back to the gym. I am scheduling classes for next semester on Thursday; the schedule just came out yesterday, and right now there are like, NO classes that fit into my family's schedule. I have to have at least 6 credits to keep financial aid, and right now there are only 5 credits that fit with dd's and dh's schedules. Sheesh! I'm hoping that my advisor has something up his sleeve, or else I'll be having lots of time to go to the gym!

Anyway...dh is on his way home, so I guess I should get dinner started. Hope everyone has had a great day!

Thanks for the compliments, ladies! When I look at that pic, all I see is my chubb. *sigh*

Yesterday was our travel day - it was "eh". Not good, but not absolutely disastrous. Ham & eggs for breakfast, I brough 100 cal packs for the plane, BK veggie burger for lunch, then I had their cookies on the second plane, then wound up having a fish sandwich at the hotel, very light on tartar, so that's good.

Today I had some french toast (which made me sick because I forgot to ask if they use milk in it), 1/2 piece of bacon, and I had just a 2 point fudgie for lunch because we're going to have a big dinner.

I'm trying so hard to stay on task and not eat out of boredom. Since hubby's at a seminar so far today I got a pedicure, bought some jeans (still a 12 ) , took some pics around the hotel, and gave myself a fancy makeover in my room. Oh, and got in a little homework. It's so hard though - I am SUCH a boredom eater.

I'm from Michigan too! So I'm not looking forward to going back. Although it is jacket weather here, not super-warm. And it's going to rain tomorrow.

Goals for tonite/tomorrow - eat smart at dinner, tomorrow get into the gym at the hotel.

Good luck to everyone on their Weigh-in's... Mine's getting delayed till Friday this week!
