For lunch, the people we were visiting wanted to go to Ponderosa restaurant. I managed to eat pretty well from their buffet. I had a big salad with veggies and just vinegar to dress it. I also had cabbage, broccoli, green beans and carrots. I avoided dessert except for 1 teaspoon of pudding. I didn't eat more because it really didn't taste that good. Pre-whole foods I would have had meatloaf, mac&cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy and hit the dessert buffet. This gives me confidence maybe my habits are changing.
