Hello all ,

Newbie here. I've been going through some posts and this morning I weighed myself . I am absolutely mortified at the weight I am- I have never been this weight and I've gained 5 stone ( 70 lb) since I got with my other half. I would really love to join in your challenge.

It's so great to see all the new people on this thread. Welcome and good luck to all! I love this idea of only focusing on a few weeks at a time when it comes to weight loss; in fact, it helps me just to focus on one day at a time. Though I don't think I did anything differently, it was thrilling to see a 2.6 lb. loss this week -- nearly twice as much as usual, but boy, I'll take it! Quebec got walloped by so much snow this past week that I think the never-ending shoveling is working in my favor, exercise-wise. One of the pipes burst in the basement so I'm counting cleaning that mess up as exercise also. :0
At least I believe I have put the Sugar Monster to sleep -- my daughter filled the house with the smell of baking cookies last Thursday and yet. . . the cookie dough did not call to me as usual.
Have a wonderful week everybody. For all my fellow teachers out there: Spring Break is coming!

Hello all: Only one pound this week, but it still means I've lost 20 pounds since the first challenge began on Jan. 1 so . The snow is melting fast here and it's only -5 C today so I'm off for a brisk walk around the neighborhood. I'm making a tiny snowsuit out of fleece for my first grandchild, born last month and already 10 pounds! I sincerely hope he continues to thrive so well and I continue to shrink so steadily.
Good week everyone! Focusing only on the current 24 hours really does help. Keep going, TooManyDimples, VickieLou, Susanrox13 and onebyone! I'm cheering for you. Traveller, Nearly40, Ubee and kfunk6113: WOW.
