TOM is finally completely gone, and it took a couple pounds of water weight with it. 298.2 this morning (that's down a full 2 pounds from yesterday). Hopefully I can keep it this time!

Of course, dinner tonight is at a buffet... I need all the will power! This restaurant is pretty good, and we've had this evening planned for a couple months now. It's part of an annual conference thing that my husband attends, and the regular attendees want to meet the kiddo, so we told them that I'd come and we'd bring the baby. It should be a fun evening with friends and food and worship.

Meanwhile, I'm watching Minions for the 230958230598th time, because the kiddo finds it hilarious, and I need the electronic baby sitter this morning to get some things done!

I hope you all are having a great weekend!

Just popping in on this lazy Sunday,

Been a worried few days as my little niece who is 14 months old, went to hospital for a very bad stomach bug, to find out that the shunt (drain) she has in her head to remove fluid from her brain had moved and wasn't working, which caused the same symptoms as her tummy bug. Luckily after a few arguments and a new hospital, she had brain surgery to fix it. Can't wait until she is home so I can get kisses.

I still have no motivation at all to work out

everyone.

I hope you're all having a great weekend. I lied; never made it back to check in on Saturday but I did manage to get some good sleep and my laundry done.

@thirdtimesthecharm: We're happy to have you on our little thread. We're a fun and supportive bunch so I hope you post regularly and find a happy space here. You have some really great motivation for wanting to get into shape and it sounds like you are really committed. Good luck!

@Martine: A big to you. I'm working as well. Yes, I've been crazy busy and now must make it through this next week (this is why I'm in the office on a Sunday). After this week work life will return to its normal level of chaos I hope you're taking good care of yourself as well.

@FeraFila: I know you're little one is going to be the main attraction at your dinner tonight. Is he one of those children who don't mind being passed around from one person to the next? My nephew was that way when he was a baby and toddler. Even now at 13 he warmly greets everyone.

A wonderfu rest of the day to all.

Scotsgal sending all the positive thoughts I can for your little niece's recovery. What a scary thing

Finally a day off after such a tough, busy weekend at the store. Still not exercising regularly, I can't get up at 5am, I'm so tired. At least I'm still eating well. Have a good Monday everyone!

Good morning everyone! I have been so busy the last couple of days and I plain forgot to come here and say howdy!

Well, today is my last day at the furniture store. I have mixed emotions. Part of me will be so happy to be out of there but I will definitely miss many of the people. I have made some friends for life.

The really great news is that I was offered the church secretary job and of course said YES!! I am super happy to begin this new chapter in my life. I just pray I can do it!

My weight is terrible!! I have been so stressed out and have blown my 21-day challenge. I am cutting myself some slack and tomorrow I will officially begin again.

Have a great day!

Good morning everyone!
I've missed you all Hope everyone is doing well wherever you may be!

It was a crazy busy weekend. Three birthday parties and a baby shower. Plus errands galore. I'm pooped and ever so grateful for this Monday morning where I can gain back some routine and stability. Happy to say that while I ate a whole bunch of stuff (pizza, cake, cookies, etc) through these events, I was very disciplined in my portions. Ended up with a loss - sitting at 211.8 now. Yay me.

Somehow through the madness, I also made my breakfast smoothie, and a salad for lunch. Hoping to see some numbers drop this week.

Good morning, everyone! I hope you've all had a great weekend!

I can't believe September is nearly over already. I've been on a plateau for a whole week now but I think I've had some type of mild stomach flu because I've felt nauseated and weak for the past week. Everyone I know has been sick lately, so it probably got passed onto me. I'm feeling a little better this morning so I hope the scale shows some movement soon!

Sept 1: 227.4
Sept 26: 217.2

He was definitely the star of the show. He was the only little one there! He's okay with strangers to a point. He doesn't like to be held by people he isn't familiar with, but he will smile and interact with them if I'm holding him or daddy's holding him, or he's in a high chair or something. Probably my fault, I stay home with him all day, and getting him to church is difficult because his morning meal/nap falls right in the middle of the worship schedule. My parents will be here from tomorrow through Friday, so I'm hoping he warms up to them quickly! He hasn't seen them since June (they live in Florida, we live in Indiana).

Last night did not go quite as planned... They had like, no staff at the restaurant, so we sat down at a little before 6:30, thinking "okay, we're getting the buffet, and worship starts at 7, we're okay"... but then the waitress didn't come over until 6:45 to say she'd be right with us, then didn't get to us until 10 minutes later, so we didn't get to eat before worship. We left the place at around 8:15 or so and stopped at Wendy's on the way home, and scarfed those burgers down on the drive because we were hungry lol.

Surprisingly, even with a baconator, some fries, and a frosty at about 8:30 last night, my weight was 297.8 this morning, which is down 0.4 from yesterday, so there's that.

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday everyone, Checking in here quite late today.

Well done one new jobs and well planned weekends everyone! FeraFilia I can't believe you mentioned Wendy's, I could cry! 4 summers working in New York where the closest fast food was Wendy's has the best memories. I miss them lol!

Well tonight, mum got her own dinner up at the hospital so I ordered take out It was chicken chow mein from the Chinese and I stuffed it right into my fat face. I felt instantly regretful and have spent the last 40 mins working out in a desperate attempt for it to not show on the scales.

Ha! I miss Wendy's, too... I only get to eat it when we're away from home. That one is the closest, and it's 30+ minutes away. That's why we ate in the car! If we waited until we got home, it would have been cold. Nothing worse than cold fries.

Greetings

Today is the first of our four transitional workshops for our university's new transfer students. It's a social so this morning has been about making sure everything is in place and organizing as opposed to guest speakers, making sure our media is in place, etc. It's going to be a good time.

@FeraFila: Is it wrong to be envious of your Wendy's meal you described? I think not Glad your little one was such a hit and probably made everyone's evening. There are some definite advantages to children being cautiously friendly. I'm not kidding you when I tell you that my nephew would have went to anyone at that age. We watched him like a hawk.

@Scotsgal: Big ! We've all been there. While I know you regretted it immediately, what's done is done. You can't take it back and it serves no purpose whatsoever beating yourself up. Hold your head up and reboot. Tomorrow provides the opportunity to begin again. Sending you

@pinkstarberry: Nice to see you! You took the words right out of my mouth regarding September being over. So sorry you've been but happy you're on the mend. Yep, illness has been making its way in fits and starts across the campus I work on as well. Not good!
